What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews provide a mixed perspective on the services. Positive feedback highlights excellent customer service from individual staff members, with Hannah Evans at the front desk praised for being welcoming, professional, and helpful, and Jim, a personal trainer, noted for his positive and knowledgeable approach. The after-school program for children received positive remarks for good communication and supervision. However, significant concerns were raised regarding billing transparency, specifically an uncommunicated $100 joining fee. The summer camp program for children was heavily criticized due to insufficient supervision, leading to children being hit daily, lack of clear incident reporting by staff, and large group sizes. Furthermore, the gym facilities received mixed reviews: while clean, not too busy, and with convenient parking and kind staff, there were strong complaints about cheap, frequently broken equipment, an inefficient mix of machines, and unresponsive leadership regarding facility issues.

Parents beware. I asked about memberships I was told about the membership price, the prorated cost, but was never told about a joining fee of 100 dollars. So in total, in one day, they charged me 198.00 when it should have been 78.00 plus the 20 bucks prorated share as i was informed. All of this wouldn't have happened if they were simply honest about the charges.
I want to give a huge shout-out to Hannah Evans at the front desk of the YMCA gym. From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly welcoming, polite, and professional. Hannah went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed, answering all my questions patiently and thoroughly. She truly made me feel comfortable and supported, especially as a first-time visitor. It's clear that she cares about the people who walk through those doors and takes pride in delivering excellent service. Her calm demeanor and helpful attitude really stood out, and she represents the YMCA in the best possible way. Thank you, Hannah, for your outstanding service — you made a great impression, and it didn’t go unnoticed!
Although I love the way my daughter was treated with the ymca members while IN school for before and after was wonderful they communicated well with me with whatever happened with my daughter. And had at least 5 people watching these kids but the actual location here please don’t bring your kids for summer camp . My daughter was being hit every single day by a different child . Now I feel like the rules they got at school they should be applied here . Today I was told my daughter was having a slapping contest with some kid .. why are kids going around putting there hands on each other and my daughter wouldn’t even hurt a fly so I know she wasnt ok with that . I feel like they need more staff with these kids way to big of a group & with always being told “ I don’t know what happened exactly “ it’s not fair that each kid aren’t really being watch with the amount of money that it is for a child to attend . I’m VERY disappointed on how they handled this.
Big shout out to Jim. He is a positive and knowledgeable personnel trainer. Great experience coming back to working out post partum.
Worked out here 3+ times a week for over a year. The gym is clean, parking is convenient and it’s never too busy. The staff is kind! However- the machines are cheap, difficult to use and always breaking—and staying broken for weeks on end. There’s also an inefficient mix of equipment- 12 ellipticals (rarely see one in use), 7 stationary bikes, four bench pressing racks, but no smith machine, cable machines, or glute drive. I brought both issues up to leadership and it was like pulling teeth to get a call or email back. For $60 a month, it was a toss up on if I’d be able to complete my workout as planned, so switching to cheaper gym with better equipment was a no brainer.
