What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed view of the pool. On the positive side, members appreciate the extensive facilities, including a large main pool with lap lanes, diving boards, and a youth zone, alongside a separate spacious baby pool with a beach entry and waterfall. Additional amenities like restrooms, a snack shack, picnic areas, playgrounds, pool basketball, ping pong, and a reservable gazebo contribute to its appeal as a family-friendly, often uncrowded, and chill environment. One reviewer also highly praised the manager. Conversely, a significant negative review from a long-term member highlighted a disappointing current season due to inconsistent and frustrating management. Specific complaints include arbitrary pool closures (e.g., for light drizzle or airplane sounds mistaken for thunder) and a perception that staff prioritizes early shutdowns. Most notably, an offensive incident involved a supervisor making an inappropriate "they don’t speak English" comment towards children, leading to feelings of unwelcomeness and concerns about the pool's commitment to a diverse and inclusive community.
Reviews
We’ve been members of this pool for three years. The first two seasons were wonderful and a big reason why we kept returning—but unfortunately, this summer has been a major disappointment. The management has become extremely inconsistent and frustrating. The pool is often closed for what seem like arbitrary reasons—sometimes even during a light drizzle or when there’s no actual thunder, just the sound of passing airplanes. It feels like the staff is looking for excuses to shut down early rather than prioritizing the member experience. More troubling was an experience we had after renting a gazebo to enjoy time with friends. Although there were two adults actively supervising five children in the pool, the supervisor, Nancy, approached us and accused us of not watching the kids. Worse, she went on to say she couldn’t communicate with the kids because “they don’t speak English.” That kind of comment is not only completely inappropriate, it’s deeply offensive—especially in a diverse and inclusive community like ours. Given the current social and political climate, this sort of behavior is unacceptable and made us feel very unwelcome. We had high hopes for another great summer, but sadly, this season has been a letdown. It’s disheartening to see what used to be a positive community space become so poorly managed and uninviting.
Their manager is so so beautiful and amazing he makes the pool worth any amount of money to come to. Highly recommend 10/10.
Great family fun. Chill environment to hang out and enjoy a nice afternoon
Nice main pool with lap lanes, diving boards, and a youth zone. There is also a separate little kids pool with a beach-style entry and a fountain. There are restrooms/locker rooms with hot water, a snack shack, picnic area with grills, ping pong, and tether balls.
Great big pool with lots of space. Pool only gets really crowded on swim meet days and for the first couple of weeks of the summer when school is still in and swim team takes up almost the whole pool. Other than those few days, the pool is not crowded. The baby pool is big and has a beach side that gradually gets deeper and a waterfall mushroom. There is another kids part off the main pool that is 3 feet deep and has steps going in. They also have a small playground for little kids, overall great pool for little kids. For older kids there is a pool basketball hoop and two nice diving boards. There are lots of pool chairs and umbrellas, and a large lawn with some decrepit concrete ping pong tables and some nice picnic benches. Another nice part is a gazeebo overlooking the pool that can be reserved for parties. If you do go to the pool, please do not pee in the pool, there are some clean bathrooms, that is where pee goes.
