What are people saying (AI review summary)? Goldfish Swim School receives mixed reviews. Positive feedback highlights the warm pool, excellent facilities including private changing rooms, and attentive, safety-conscious staff. Specific instructors, like Jane, are lauded for their personalized approach, engagement, and ability to build confidence in young children. Parents of infants note improved water confidence and positive experiences with encouraging instructors and an understanding front desk for make-up sessions. However, significant criticisms include a perceived lack of progress for older children (especially after age 6), with complaints about teachers providing insufficient feedback, ineffective teaching styles, and high instructor turnover leading to inconsistent guidance. There are also frustrations regarding a policy requiring re-enrollment to use already-paid make-up sessions, contradicting advertised flexibility, and occasional issues with insufficient private bathrooms during peak hours.

Sure! Here’s the English translation of your message: ⸻ I am very grateful to the entire Goldfish team for their excellent system in developing children’s swimming skills. I especially want to highlight coach Jane’s approach. She is super focused on each child. She’s highly engaged. She has an individual approach. She handles children’s fears and objections with ease. A true professional. We need more coaches like her. This truly is an invaluable way to unlock each child’s potential through a personalized approach. If you want to teach your child to swim, I highly recommend these schools — and be sure to check out Jane.
My son was in the infant class for two months and loved it. We only stopped due to having a second child and schedules being crazy and plan to re-enroll in Fall or Winter. He was 16 months at the time, and the instructors were fantastic with him, being encouraging but not forceful. There were definitely tears at times, but that was related to my son being tired/hungry/grumpy or just encountering new experiences for the first time, like water on the face. By the time our enrollment ended, our son was so much more confident in the water and consistently having a blast of a time. Unfortunately, there were several unforeseen events that popped up and we had to miss several classes. However, we were able to call and get make-up sessions in. The front desk staff were so understanding and easy to work with. Will definitely be back when we can!
Fine if your kid is just learning to swim but teachers don't give feedback and kids plateau with ineffective swimming skills. Teachers just ignore your kid and say random nice things at the end of each lesson to pretend like they are teaching. Make no mistake though, your kid's skills will never progress with their guidance. The only reason we go is for scheduled exercise. For example, the don't get any guidance on how to breathe while doing freestyle so they just do side stroke to breathe or they keep their head out of the water. Largely wasting your money after age 6.
They advertise flexibility and make up sessions but has “policy” forcing you to enroll just to use make up sessions that’s already beed paid for. There are handful of dedicated great coaches but turnover seems high. My kid hasn’t shown any progress for over a year due to different swim instructors and their different teaching styles and unclear/contradictory instructions. Swim Temperature is warm. That was one of the main reasons of joining this swim school. Not enough private bathrooms during peak hours.
A great pool for kids to learn to swim. The pool is warm and not to deep, and the staff is attentive and very safe, the were as many lifeguards as kids when we had summer camp lessons. My kids had a great time working on their swimming and building confidence. There's also plenty of individual changing rooms, showers, and even hair dryers so you can fully get the kiddos ready after a dip in the pool
