We had a blast the end of season dog meet up a few days ago! Thank you for coordinating this and for treating our pups like royalty :)
Great location to put you boat on the lake. The parking lot fills up fast. We had a lovely time kayaking from one end to the other. Note: you must be a Reston resident to use the lake, simply call the Reston addicted and request a boat pass, which is free.
This lake is located in the southern side of Reston. It has a nice walking path that runs about half of the length of the actual lake. Very nice people love on the lake. There is a good amount of people who boat here since it is a live on lake. Boat and kayak access is private.
The picnic tables next to the lake will forever be a sacred place for me. My boyfriend proposed here tonight and I said yes. Just about the most beautiful scenery you could ask for in Reston.
Nice place for a walk biking and fishing
