About

Outdoor swimming pool with a rock climbing wall, playground, snack bar and lounging chairs.

The main pool's temperature is typically maintained between 78-82°F (25.5-27.8°C) for swimmer comfort. The separate wading pool generally operates at a similar or slightly warmer temperature.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool generally receives high praise for its excellent facilities, including a clean main pool with lanes and a rock climbing wall, a baby pool with a fountain, a playground, and amenities like chairs with umbrellas and a snack bar. Many reviewers note it's often not crowded and has historically friendly staff, with some being long-time patrons. However, a significant number of recent complaints highlight issues with lifeguards. Visitors report lifeguards going on 'power trips,' making up and inconsistently enforcing arbitrary rules (e.g., banning small water guns, specific seating arrangements, 'breathing games'). This behavior is described as confrontational, reprimanding adults with children, and ruining the overall experience. Management has reportedly acknowledged that rules are 'iffy' under new leadership, suggesting a lack of clear and consistent policy regarding rule establishment and enforcement, which is causing frustration among patrons.

Great pool, offers daily and seasonal passes. Has chairs with umbrellas, baby pool with fountain, main pool with lanes and a rock climbing wall over the deep end, playground, and snack bar (all prepacked snacks, not real food). The staff were great and the pool was clean. We will definitely be back 💦

One of the best public pools I've been too. Friendly staff, not crowded swimming pool.

The pool itself is great, however the lifeguards have been on power trips and making up rules as the season goes on. It really is ruining the pool and I have heard and seen numerous people complaining about it. We have been going to pool since the season started this year and have witnessed numerous times where the lifeguards are actually reprimanding adults with their kids. I understand if there’s a rule they need to enforce for safety, but the way they go about it is confrontational at the least. Then comes the made up rules they have been enforcing. I have seen the lifeguards yelling at kids for no “breathing games”……which is a first . Today for instance, they added a new rule that little kids can’t have little water guns in the pool. I’m not taking about super soakers, these were little tiny squirt guns the size of my hand. They made several small kids laughing and playing with these little squirt guns to exit the pool because of this. I myself was told today that we are not allowed to have lounge chairs near the baby pool after already in sitting in these chairs for over 3 hours….once again that’s a first. The first lifeguard said no lounge chairs because if you’re lounging in a chair then you can’t properly watch your children. Then the second lifeguard came over with a clear attitude and began talking down to us and stated “this is what’s happening and you need to move”. When asked to show us the rule about lounge chairs, the manager then came over and stated to us that actually there is no rule about lounge chairs near the baby pool but it’s just something they felt like doing …..but we could continue to sit in our lounge chairs this time. At the end of the conversation , the manager made the comment that they are under new management and their rules are “iffy”.

Lifeguards seem to be adding rules as season goes on. Rules for safety are understandable and a must. It seems like situational things (rowdy teens throwing a football) are turning into ongoing rules. Instead, address the undesirable behavior or situation and don’t punish the masses. There seems to be arbitrary rules for size of ball being thrown, distance between people when ball is being thrown, no legs on the pool deck, and ambiguity over when the rock wall is “open” and when you can swim in the deep end. Again, safety is priority but reevaluate how pool rules are established

I've been coming here since I was three. It's always been nice and almost never overcrowded. Has a wonderful park that you can chill in while break time is going. Short walk from the library if you'd like to curl up with a book after swimming.
