What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Round Hill Aquatic Center is a generally well-regarded facility, described as new, clean, and inexpensive. It's popular for young children's playdates, offering a shallow ramp area, and is noted for its friendly, helpful staff and lifeguards. Adults appreciate it for lap swimming as a low-impact exercise and a community gathering spot, often finding it uncrowded in the mornings or mid-afternoons. A party room is available for events. However, a major recurring concern is the limited availability for leisure and fitness swimmers due to its small size (only four lanes), which are frequently booked for lessons, classes, and swim teams, especially during peak seasons. Some users also wish the pool were deeper for diving.

We love coming here for playdates with young ones in the mornings in the cooler months. It's small, but never crowded. It's an inexpensive and fun activity. The lifeguards are very friendly and helpful. They let us check out goggles and floatees and such. We bring our own pool toys. The kids stay and play in the ramp portion of the pool. The lanes are usually occupied with swimmers doing laps.
Unexpected gem. Brought my twins to the pool on a Saturday morning, expecting it to be chaos. Other than the two young kids getting a swim lesson, it was empty. The water felt great in comparison to the 98* outside, however, it did feel as if the AC was broken.
It’s nice to have a lap pool. I wish it were deeper so that you could dive. During COVID, it was a nice refuge. Now that I am getting older, running is harder on my body. Swimming is a very nice change of pace. They also have a party room that we used to reserve for kids’ birthday parties. It is nice to be able to swim for the kids to be able to swim and burn off the sugar high. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.
The facility is new, clean and pretty nice. The big problem: There are only four lanes at this aquatic center. This causes availability for leisure or fitness swimmers to be spotty at best. It's frequently booked for lessons, classes, and swim teams. Grab a lane availability sheet from the front desk. You're going to need it. Update, 2023: Nothing is different from years ago. The facility is still of a good quality. And availability can be an issue during HS swim season and winter/spring ahead of summer outdoor season. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful!
I have met some wonderful neighbors at the Round Hill Aquatic Center. I had never been, but my daughter bought me a pass to help me process my grief. The swimming has been a blessing, in more ways than one. The pool is not crowded in the middle of the afternoon, so I have only had to share a lane twice. Most of the lifeguards and attendants are pretty friendly, too. You should definitely go...in the morning! LOL.
