Such a great Aquatics Center for families! The lazy river is small but lazy and river-y. They have several slides for young toddlers and adults. The staff is great and they have plenty of attentive life guards on duty. High recommend it!
This is a fun pool, but I recommend calling ahead before you go. We went today and found the pool was already at max capacity. I’m giving one star because they really should put up a sign at the entrance to let people know when it’s full. Since we didn’t know, we parked far back, unloaded everything, and got our kids settled in the stroller—only to find out we had to pack everything back up and leave. We saw many other people in the same situation.
Worst experience ever at this place. If you have kids, please be aware. We had a birthday party there today and two of our kids almost drowned. They were stuck under the tubes in the lazy river and the lifeguards wouldn’t help. They thought the kids were playing around, even though the parents kept asking for help. One of the moms had to jump in to pull the kids out herself. The lifeguards’ response was to reprimand her for jumping in the water without proper swimming wear. When our family got the supervisor, the lifeguards kept laughing and acting like it was all a big joke. Absolutely insane to hire such irresponsible individuals as lifeguards for a place with kids.
Great fun! My grandson had a blast. It was big enough for lots of fun but small enough to keep track of him! The staff seemed well trained and alert. Only wish that there was more seating, especially shaded.
I am seven years old. Both times my grandma brought me here, my toes got cut up and bleed. I'm telling you the surface isn't great at all. I'm here to tell you be careful on the lazy river.
