The lifeguards this year are power happy, whistle happy jerks. Threatening to ban small children for running? These are kids, they forget what you tell them 30 seconds after you tell them, and they weren’t even really running! Countless announcements threatening patrons, yelling at kids for using water toys…. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Decent size pool, some of their rules are a little weird. Like the diving boards were closed for no reason as far as we could tell. And they have a mandatory 15 minute break every hour where other pools typically do 10 minutes. They also had several life guards just hanging around not doing much. And an area of the pool was broken and not really covered safely. They do have a few good areas for parties, a small kiddie pool and a slide.

LakeRidge stepped up to the plate during the pandemic to serve its residents by opening Ridgewood Pool for lap swimming while places like Chinn remained closed. They have provided a great service and the young pool staff is doing a great job! Well done LakeRidge Homeowners Association.
