The park generally receives positive feedback for being a lovely, safe, and dog-friendly place with a clean pool and efficient use of its compact space, offering amenities like canopies and life vests. However, recurring negative points include frequent waiting lines due to maximum capacity, inaccurate online operating hours, and significant issues with staff professionalism, described as unhelpful, unhappy, and causing delays in pool access due to post-opening maintenance.

Lovely little park Dog friendly Safe and fenced Clean pool Great place
Nice park outside but there’s often waiting lines to get in because of maximum capacity. Published times online don’t match.
Really impressed with the use of space. Great place
Hey DC parks- how about update goggle in your lame hours
It’s a small setup, but reasonable and has a nice canopy for people to use the chairs. Plus there’s a number of life vests for little ones to use. But can there be a more miserable group of people who have outdoor summer jobs? Working at a pool would seem like a great way to spend your summer. However, these employees complain about their wages; roll their eyes when someone doesn’t realize they need a government ID ready to show; say, “it’s a loooong, painful process to pay for your pool pass”; had to keep testing the clorine level of the pool and saying it wasn’t at a safe level for anyone to get in … for 30 minutes after opening (Shouldn’t they do that before opening?) and more. They weren’t discrete with their comments and what a way to discourage the public from wanting to visit and continue paying for the services.
