What are people saying (AI review summary)? SwimLabs elicits mixed reviews from customers. Many express gratitude for dedicated and patient coaches, particularly highlighting individualized support for children with special needs, which led to increased confidence and a love for swimming. However, a significant number of reviews point to concerns regarding inconsistency in teaching quality, frequent rotation of seemingly inexperienced coaches, and a perceived lack of progress over time for some students. There are also complaints about management responsiveness, a new pool setup that limits swimming space, and the overall value for the price. While some issues were resolved after direct complaints, the overall experience appears to be highly variable.

I have nothing but gratitude for SwimLabs. My 3 kids take swimming lessons there. My oldest son is 8 y/o autistic. Coach Harrison and coach Sonia have been very supportive to work with my son. They always come up with new ideas to make his lessons productive. They took the time and patience to work with him.
Edited: We decided to call and let them know we were disappointed in our daughter’s progress and a lot has happened in the last 3 months. Many teachers have rotated out and the current group seem well qualified. After complaining it took about 2 weeks for management to realize the issue and address it. Our swimmer went from not being able to put her face in the water to paddling and effectively swimming a few feet within a month. They definitely heard us and addressed the issue. Previous post: Our daughter is motivated and excited to swim. She’s been going to swim labs for over a year and she still doesn’t know how to put her face in the water OR float. I do not think it’s worth the price. Our teacher has not been there for months now, we’ve had a different substitute teacher every class. I’m quite disappointed by the lack of effort they’ve put into teaching our child to swim.
My family loves Swimlabs. Teachers are great, and lessons are normally so much fun. However the new set up of the pool is disappointing. The kids only have a few feet to be able to swim each class, and the kids are getting confused what class’ they’re in. Looks like the owner is caring more about how many classes they have going on, instead of the quality of each lesson. I would love to see the pools set up better for each teacher and kids to learn efficiently.
Started out great, making progress with our two swimmers. Then things progressively got worse. Revolving door of young coaches with little experience with kids. Seem more interested in squirting each other with squirt toys then actually helping kids learn. We have not seen progress in over 3 months. No one in charge around to talk to. Leaving because the price we have been paying is definitely not worth it. Disappointed in how things are going. I don't recommend it.
We have been so happy with our experience at Swim Labs. Our son has excelled in his confidence in the water and loves his coaches. He used to hate getting in the water and now loves going to his swim lessons.
