Indoor pool with swim lessons, water aerobics, lap swimming and a pair of diving boards.
The main pool at Valley Pool is generally maintained at a comfortable temperature suitable for year-round swimming and aquatic activities, often within the range of 82-84°F (approximately 27.8-28.9°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool receives mixed feedback. Private swim lessons are highly praised for their kid-friendly and effective instructors. Pool rentals for events are also highly recommended, with users commending the fabulous staff, cleanliness, and fun amenities like the diving area. However, there are significant criticisms regarding general operations, particularly concerning lap swim where lanes are often disrespected by recreational swimmers and not properly enforced by staff. Several reviews also highlight extremely negative experiences with rude, unsupervised young staff, inconsistent operating hours (leading to wasted trips), and very short swim times. It is also explicitly clarified that this pool does not feature waterslides.

This was a great place to swim laps. Now, the separation of rec swim and lap swim is no longer respected by the rec swim people or the staff. People who really should be at rec swim show up to lap swim… and take up an entire lane standing in the pool staring at laps swimmers. This had ruined lap swim time. No only because there are never enough lanes for people who actually swim laps but also because rec swim people don’t seem to understand gym etiquette. (Mind your own business and swim) None of the other pools in town are this bad about respecting lap swim. I don’t know why valley even has “lap swim” time anymore or even bothers with the lane ropes because it is just rec swimmers who show up and take over the entire pool.
My grandson is taking private swim lessons. His swim coach is kid friendly and a great instructor.
Very, very horrible stuff there I can’t believe it. I’ve been there so long. It’s just crazy how bad it’s gotten really rude people there and honestly, I don’t see one adult there at all. All these kids pretty much I guess running the show there which is not very cool and by the hours the hours here 6 o’clock they’re not really open at 6 o’clock people they said730 or some shit they said I don’t know. It was really ridiculous when it says all through this whole week 6 to 8 PM I think that’s just kind of messed up. I came all the way from Rio Rancho and no Swim because these kids said no not till 730 even though it says clearly 6 PM here and throughout the whole week like I said very rude snobby little kids or teenagers I should say but just horrible very horrible. And how could that even be 730 till eight so you only get 30 minutes of swim time that’s just ridiculous I’m sorry but Valley high what happened to you ? come on now you guys need to get some real people back in there. These young teenagers were just ridiculous. I just can’t believe how shady these teenagers were.
Rented the pool for my daughters 9th birthday. What a wonderful day she had! The staff and life guards were fabulous, it was clean and we had the pool to ourselves. The diving area was fun for the kids and the adults as well. Definitely recommend.
PLEASE READ!! DESPITE WHAT ANOTHER REVIEW MIGHT SAY, THERE ARE NO WATERSLIDES!! The person that had the picture of the waterslide reviewed the wrong pool. The pool that was meant to be reviewed was Sierra Vista pool. I repeat, there are NO WATERSLIDES at this pool.
