I’ve been going to this Chuze location for about a year, and no matter what time I hit the gym on a weekday, it’s almost always packed. After 4PM, expect to wait 10–15 minutes for machines or squat racks. Compared to other gyms I’ve tried like Anytime or Legion—which are pricier but far less crowded—Chuze feels overcrowded. While the base membership seems affordable at $16/month with a one-year commitment, hidden fees add up fast. There’s a $100 enrollment fee and a $60 annual fee, which breaks down to about $29.30/month overall. If long wait times are a deal breaker for you, it might be worth looking elsewhere. That said, the staff is incredibly friendly and the gym is always clean, which is a big plus.
Aqua classes are great for all fitness levels- they’re as tough as you make them for your own body. Great workout and amazing instructors!! The chlorine fumes in the jacuzzi is sky high- so much so, upon entering the pool area I immediately have burning eyes and throat. It needs better air filtration or lower the chlorine content. It shouldn’t be making people’s eyes burn. That’s the only reason for 4 stars. Please find a solution! I love my pool time!!
Absolutely immaculately clean and sanitary equipment. Very important to me. Spin room has the perfect stationary bikes no complicated difficult equipment. Have not had a single workout interrupted by kitties or cougars. Respectful and mindful staff and clients. Facility is enormous and well equipped. All energy levels are matched. Many options and degrees of challenges.
Five stars for well-maintained facilities and ease of access. New member. Didn't realize facility was due to close at 8:00 p.m. on Sundays. The staff member who came to tell me the facility about to close was very kind about it (thanks again), but the female locker room attendant felt it necessary (?) to tell me to leave while I was half naked trying to put my clothes on several minutes later. I guess I should have just walked out in my bathing suit, into the night? Yeah... I've noted your closing times now. Lol. Thanks. Appreciate you.
I was hoping the lift lab was going to offer more equipment for member that pay for the higher tier plans. Instead, they use the equipment during peak hours for classes. All while there is another room used for classes at the same time. This defeats the purpose of having a higher tier plan to use the equipment.
