Clean public swimming pool with lots of lifeguards, and a fence with razor wire.
While the specific daily temperature for Wilson Pool is not always publicly listed, public pools operated by the City of Albuquerque are generally maintained at a comfortable temperature, typically ranging between 80-84°F (27-29°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews for the park and pool are mixed. While some found the pool beautiful with good features like a shallow end, slide, and splash pad, and praised some lifeguards as amazing, there were significant safety concerns in the park area. Issues cited include the presence of homeless individuals (some described as creepy and asking for money), discarded syringes, and a general feeling of insecurity, despite a razor-wire fence near the pool. Other criticisms included thorny weeds in the grass, lifeguards being distracted or setting a bad example by breaking rules, and the removal of a once-loved clubhouse. One reviewer also noted the pool being closed without proper signage.

Nice park.many homeless folks around..some are pretty creepy asking for money... syringes on ground needs to be cleaned up by the park department. The pool is closed.yet there isn't a sign saying "pool is closed" is on the front door.
Our family's first time here we had a blast! The lifeguards do an Amazing job here!
Used to have an epic clubhouse over on the lawn, I guess it cost the city too much and they had to remove it. Its a shame because my best memories are at Wilsons clubhouse, bought my first car there, found a dog, ya know. Irreplaceable.
Wilson Pool has a shallow end around 3 ft, which is nice for kids. There is one slide and a small splash pad. There is plenty of grass, but it is overrun by thorny weeds that hurt your feet. A few trees provide decent shade. Also, the area doesn't feel very safe. However, there is a fence with razor wire around the part of the pool that butts up to a park, so that helps. The lifeguards were friendly, but were more interested in showing off their water slide and diving skills than keeping an eye on the pool.
Mixed review. The pool with beautiful. Most of the lifeguards were wonderful. My five year old had a hard time with the Lifeguard that dove off the top of the slide, and went down headfirst and backwards. He said that was against the rules, and I agreed that sometimes the big people don't set the best example.
