We have our toddler enrolled and she was less than thrilled to start but Skylar has been truly wonderful! Our daughter was crying at the pool and now she is walking up to the pool and ready to get in and that is thanks to Skylar. Not only is our daughter happier with the pool she is learning some great starter skills. Highly recommend British Swim School with Skylar as an instructor.

I had a very disappointing experience with British Sim School, Libertyville. We enrolled at Libertyville location, then they moved us to Vernon Hills. The most significant issue was the severe lack of staff, which resulted in constant class cancellations at the last minute. This was incredibly frustrating as it disrupted our schedule and left us with no alternative plans for our child's education. Moreover, the water facilities at the school was cold water that was uncomfortable for the children during swimming lessons. Many of the young children ended up crying due to the discomfort, and it was evident that the school did not prioritize the comfort and well-being of its students. Another major concern was the frequent changing of instructors. It seemed like they kept rotating instructors with the same level of expertise, ( lack of teachers and expertise to handle uncomfortable child) which made my child feel uncomfortable and unsettled in the learning environment. Consistency and stability in teaching are crucial for a child's development, but unfortunately, this school failed to provide that. Overall, my experience with British Sim School was extremely unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this school to anyone due to its lack of staff, last-minute class cancellations, uncomfortable swimming conditions, and constant changing of instructors. It was a disorganized and unsettling environment for my child's education

My 6 year old daughter was terrified of water when she started taking classes back in May of 2018. She now loves to swim and can't wait for swim days! The British swim school staff are wonderful and very engaging and interactive with the children. I recommend this school for kids of all ages!

Great swim school! Skyler is the best instructor, she is so patient and understanding and makes lessons fun. Especially having a toddler who may or may not listen, she takes her time and makes sure her students are comfortable. We have learned so much here

The British swim instructors are amazing and work great with the kids (I have 3 in the classes). They give instructional feedback right away and goals to work on from week to week. Great class sizes as well. Only complaint, I would have preferred a locker for the kids to shower and change their clothes in and not the small little changing tents that are offered.
