It’s a really nice waterpark with a kids area, family area, lazy river where you can go on float or not, and a handful of slides. Things to know before you come are possibly wear water shoes because walking from one area to the next can be HOT. I did not like for the lazy river. If you do not purchase a raft to rent for the day then the one you stand in line for as soon as you go around once they kick you off. I did not see anything of this prior to either and nobody said anything so when we went around and they forced us off, it was a big surprise! A few slides were out of order when we went so the lines for big slides were very long! I did not like that in the main pool all kids had to wear lifejackets even the babies and that made My Baby screamed and cried the whole time while I swim with my other children. I understand why however I’ve never seen this before. The shopping center was decently reasonable for swimsuits however, if you want a waterproof phone case go to the dollar tree instead of paying $20 there. I really wish they had more shaded areas as well.
Here are some important things to know before you go: Parking is $35 per vehicle., Food is outrageously expensive,, Lockers cost $20. In addition, they do not publish which attractions are closed ahead of time. We came with a large group, including 6 young children, and found that every slide in the children's area was closed. The six-chute mat slide was also shut down. Several slides only had 1 or 2 runs open. admission tickets aren’t cheap and they don’t include a tube for the lazy river — you have to purchase that separately. Wait times for the slides were painfully slow due to short staffing. The park is clearly overcrowded and needs to limit capacity for a better guest experience. The water was cloudy; we couldn’t even see our feet in just 3 feet of water. That alone was concerning. To top it off, the park shut down all attractions due to lightning, yet when we asked about a refund, staff insisted the park was still “open.” A water park where nothing is operating is not open, regardless of technicalities. We left extremely disappointed and will not return. This was a huge waste of money. Save yourself the trouble and go to Noah’s Ark instead — they know how to run a water park properly.
Endless lines. Waited for one ride for about 2 hours and then when approached to enter, the ride got closed because of lightning. I don’t understand the policy of keeping the ticket price low while allowing entry of unlimited visitors, so you barely ride anything. No fast pass available for to add to regular ticket. Also you have to pay to get a tube at the lazy river (or whatever they name it) which is totally inconvenient cause people don’t carry their wallets/phones with them while they hang around in the park.
We thought it was a fun time to spend a hot day. However, the prices for tickets, food ($18 for a slice of pizza lol and it doesn't get better) , parking ($40), "VIP" seats/umbrellas/cabanas ($45-$150)and lockers($15-$30) are exorbitant and not worth coming back. The smells of sewage and dirty backwash water in some places like the entrance to the lazy river and entrance to the wave pool are nauseating. We went on a relatively slow day so wait times for water rides weren't too bad but they only let you ride the lazy river once on a tube - defeating the purpose entirely. You can walk it as long as you Ike, though. The wave pool free seating was completely full all day and they didn't open the "vip" seats up even though they were pretty much the same seats for at least $45. We found plenty free seats elsewhere. We felt the place was clean otherwise and we ended up having a nice time because we didn't buy any food, upgraded seats or products. I can't imagine what a family of 6 would spend here in a day. The business model here is very skewed bit as long as people keep coming here and paying $25 for a locker, $25 for a plain cheeseburger and $40 to put their car on a piece of concrete, this place will keep chugging along.
The park was busy with some long wait times BUT so much fun.The staff were all friendly and helpful especially Gabie. I do feel like they could use a better system with tubes. The raft rides seemed to only have a few rafts in circulation. Food was expensive but that is expected at all parks unfortunately. We enjoyed are day and will be back.
