What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for Turtle Creek Waterpark are mixed. Many visitors describe it as a fun, family-friendly facility with great slides, a popular splash pad for young children, and multiple pools. The lazy river is generally enjoyed, and some find it worth a significant drive. Positive aspects include picnic areas and a dedicated children's area. However, there are notable criticisms: some visitors reported a shortage of tubes, leading to waits for the lazy river and tube slides. A major concern was raised regarding a severe health hazard where multiple visible fecal incidents occurred in the lazy river, with accusations that staff failed to close the area, make announcements, or take action, despite prior closures of other pools for similar issues. Other minor points include the deepest part of the pool being 4 feet 11 inches.

Fun park. Not enough tubes at times so you have to wait possibly up to 10 minutes in line until someone is done using it in order to enjoy the lazy river and the slide. There are two slides that don't require a tube.
This place rocks. My son who's 3 loves the splash pad, and the whole facility is very family friendly. I haven't tried the food yet but its nice they have a large areas with picnic tables, and multiple pools for different use cases. Got the season pass and will be there a lot!
I Wish This Was a Joke — But It Was a Health Hazard Today, I experienced something I’ve never seen in my 38 years of visiting pools, lakes, and waterparks—and that includes raising a family, helping patients as a dental assistant, and just living life with common sense. After paying to get into Turtle Creek Waterpark, we were casually told that two of the three pools were closed due to a fecal incident. Gross, but fine—we figured we’d make the best of it and float in the Lazy River. What happened next was absolutely horrifying. Over the course of just under two hours, all of a sudden, we witnessed five separate, clearly visible turds floating in the Lazy River. This was after the original "incident" had supposedly been handled. FIVE. Floating. Human. Feces. And still… no announcements. No closures. No warnings. Kids were being sent down slides that emptied directly into that water. Let that sink in. The staff said nothing. Did nothing. Took no visible action. They allowed people—especially children—to remain exposed to water that could easily carry E. coli, pink eye, parasites, and worse. This wasn’t a fluke. This was a failure to protect public health. I've already filed a formal complaint with the Lake County Health Department, and I strongly encourage anyone else who was there to do the same. Because if we don’t speak up, who will? This isn’t about being dramatic. This is about basic human decency, safety, and accountability. And if those things don’t matter at a public waterpark full of children and families… what does? Turtle Creek—do better. For the sake of every person who trusted you today.
Pretty fun and vlean pool, however, the deepest part of the pool the whole time we were there was 4 ft 11 inches. Lazy river was fun, no wait and not a lot of people. 4.2 stars for me.
We have came here twice now because my kids absolutely love it! It is worth the 1 hour drive and two hour drive back due to traffic! Great slides and children's area!
