Mason Community Center – A Welcoming Gem with Room to Grow Earlier this year, I visited the Mason Community Center pool after hearing someone rave about how neat it was—and they weren’t wrong. That one visit turned into a membership, and I’ve been grateful ever since. 🌟 Staff & Atmosphere From the moment you walk in, the front desk team—ladies and gentlemen alike—greet you with a cheerful “Hi” that makes you feel seen. The lifeguards are attentive and professional, keeping a close eye on everyone in the pool area. It’s clear they take safety seriously, and as a parent, that means everything. 🏊♀️ Facilities & Experience The pool itself is fantastic, and it’s easy to see why families and individuals alike enjoy spending time here. That said, there are a couple of areas that could use some love: • Indoor seating: A few more tables would go a long way, especially for families trying to keep track of towels, snacks, and little ones. • Cleanliness in bathrooms/showers: The showers often have hair on the floors, and the overall upkeep could be improved. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does affect the experience—especially when you’re trying to wrangle kids post-swim. 🚻 Family-Friendly Improvements I’m especially looking forward to the completion of the family bathrooms. Right now, using the women’s locker room can be a bit awkward—older women understandably change openly, but when you’ve got small children with you, it can be a little uncomfortable for them. Having a private, family-friendly option will make a big difference for caregivers like me. 💬 Final Thoughts Despite a few hiccups, I highly recommend checking out the Mason Community Center. It’s welcoming, well-run, and clearly committed to serving the community. With a few tweaks, it could go from great to exceptional.
All the amenities you can think of and more! I suggest getting the premium pass because it gives you access to both the indoor and outdoor pool. Both are spectacular and the outdoor pool was just recently (in the last few years) completely demolished and re-created, boasting a lazy river, two supersonic speed slides! (Hold on to your suits ladies and gents! 🛝🌊💨👙🩳 😵💫 🫢😳) I got caught up on the pool thing. Excellent walking track so that you can walk or run if it’s raining or cold or extremely hot outside. The locker rooms are cleaned on a schedule very regularly and very thoroughly and always smell clean. There are rooms for rent for birthday parties and other activities they have childcare. They have parents night out. The list goes on my wife and I have had a membership for almost a decade and have enjoyed it a lot.
Awesome well equipped, DIRECTV Drop and Drag to my area TV with a vivid excellent HDTV system. No receivers to tango with and best of all no remotes just touch the TV Pad and drag the programming to my designated area HDTV fast and perfect.
Had a great time at the Mason Community Center! We went on the last day of the spring break special so the price was great! Would def go again!
Great fireworks display and music for the 4th. Lots of things for the kids. I would have given a 5, but the lines were so long for food and beverages so I ate nothing. The planners need to plan better next year because less revenue changes hands when people are standing in line!
