Park, playground, and water park featuring a splash pad and a lake for hiking and fishing.
As a splash pad or wet playground, Parky's Ark typically uses unheated municipal water, similar to what you'd find in a garden hose or outdoor spigot. Therefore, specific pool temperatures are not maintained or published, and the water temperature will vary with the ambient ground and air temperatures.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Winton Woods offers a variety of enjoyable activities such as rock climbing, zip-lining, golf, a water park/splash pad, and walking trails, with many visitors, particularly children, having a good time and expressing affection for the park. However, there are significant concerns regarding park attendant supervision, especially in water-based areas. Multiple reviews highlighted attendants being distracted by their phones, leading to serious safety issues like unattended toddlers leaving water areas and children dangerously piling up on slides, resulting in injuries, including a special needs child being kicked. These incidents raise calls for better employee training and monitoring to ensure public safety. Other minor issues included crowding and a lack of clear communication about park entry fees.

Winton woods is always fun. We went on great parks community day. We tried rock climbing, zip lining and golf.
I enjoyed the water park, the kids playground, the walking trails and next time i come i want to try the paddle boats. 😁
The attendant was not watching the kids very closely. I saw a toddler leave the water area. The attendant did nothing because she was on her phone. Other than that the kids had a great time.
Overall, I love this park. I've lived here most of my youth. Today we visited the splash pad. There should really be an attendant inside the ark to keep the kids from piling on top of eachother down the slide. My special needs son was kicked in the head on two separate occasions because children didn't wait before following him down the slide. Multiple times children were climbing up the slide as my son was trying to go down it. He ended up being terrified to go down the slide as aggrivated children screamed at him to go or pushed past him to go down the slide. I looked to see where the employees were who were suppose to be supervising, and they were glued to their phones. We were there for two hours and I only seen one of them look up once. One day someone is going to get very hurt and winton woods park will suffer for it. This was June 18th. The kids working that shift really need to be talked to to ensure public saftey.
My grandson loved it. A little crowded. As we were leaving we saw that said it cost money to get it. Since we didn't see it we didn't pay to get it and no one mentioned it to us.
