Lively community pool in Fairway, Kansas. I came here multiple times a week last summer to sit and watch different people jump off the diving board. In a beautiful neighborhood, great for people -watching. If you're ever vacationing in the Fairway area make sure to check it out. There's a pretty good ice cream shop nearby as well.
Great place for family with a mix of ages. Splash pad for babies, shallow end for new swimmers attached to 4.5' deep end with slide and lap lanes for big kids. Separate pool with diving boards. Adult swim on the hour. Snack bar with excellent pizza. Nice bathroom/changing rooms. Lots of seats and tables with or without shade.
Amazing pool. We’ll definitely be back. They have a great little kid area, two diving boards, lap lanes, and a big shaded area with tables and chairs. Their snack bar looked good too, though we didn’t get anything.
I am a young adult woman with no kids who still enjoys getting to swim and tan in the summer and this is my choice of place to do it! It only costs $7 as a non-member and although there usually are a lot of kids, they tend to not be too crazy. There is also an adult swim every hour and the food prices are great! Make sure you get there early, or you will probably have to park in the neighborhood, but honestly this is one of my favorite places to go in the summertime!
Pricey for non resident admission, but this is a great community pool! The building is nice to look at, there is a variety of chairs (lounge chairs, regular chairs, and dining chairs at circular tables). A large wooden deck area in the back provides tons of shaded seating, while other areas around the pool deck are in full sun. There is one grassy area kids could play or have a picnic. Baby area includes zero entry, small slide, and buckets that dump water. Shallow end has various long step entries, making it a great place for parents to watch and sit in the water while young new swimmers play. Other amenities include a slide, two diving boards, snack bar, full family, women’s and mens bathrooms, changing areas and showers. They also have many goggles and floating devices for young kids. Love that you can bring outside food in. We had our pizza delivered here last Friday night :)
