Oceans of Fun is the perfect summer spot for families! We had an amazing time, and as parents of a toddler, we were especially impressed by the kid friendly sections designed just for the little ones. The shallow splash areas, mini slides, and shaded play zones gave our toddler plenty to explore while we could relax close by and feel at ease. The park is clean, well organized, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout. It’s great to have a water park that truly caters to all ages. Whether you’re looking for big thrills or just a fun, safe place to cool off with your young kids, Oceans of Fun delivers. We’ll definitely be back!
Had a day off, and it was very hot. Took two of the kids and my grandson for a mom and me date. I recommend buying one of those waterproof neck pouches. If you need seats, go sit by the old canoe area. Next to the kids section. That seemed pretty empty. I bought season passes so I could take my grandson again, and if the two kids wanted to go, they could still go. Tickets online are cheaper.
Great place. Fun and safe for the family. Great 4th fireworks show even with the crowds. Kids really enjoy the rides, then we can go cool off in a water slide or in the wave pool or one of the giant splash pad areas. Also has an adult only pool with a bar
We’ve had season passes for years and never had bad experiences until this summer. The amount of times pools were closed due to sanitation issues, or in our opinion *should have been closed* because the water was so murky you couldn’t see the bottom, is inexcusable. We also were unaware until this summer that we aren’t allowed to go down the slides with earrings in. That info should be made obvious at the front entrance of each slide, not verbally told when at the top of the line after waiting for half an hour to ride the slides. It probably stinks for the employees who have enforce this policy to customers who have been patiently waiting to ride the slides, when it should be management’s duty to make that policy well known. Also, it’s wild that they sell water shoes but water shoes aren’t allowed on slides. This place has gone downhill by a long shot since six flags has taken over.
It's a nice water park with a lot of different areas/slides. The kids areas in particular are really great. The area with the pirate ship is really nice for young kids (toddler aged) and the playground thing with all the slides and tipping buckets is really fun for my kids now that they're a little bit older. Oceans of Fun has kind of gone a little downhill in my opinion in recent years. I think they are trying to protect themselves from getting sued but I think their new rules and procedures are a little ridiculous and took some of the fun away. Like you have to wait in line to even get into the wave pool. And they block off all the exits and entrances to the regular pool where the little leap pads used to be ( they took them out, which is another thing). Also my kids weren't allowed to use their goggles that cover their nose? And the wave pool was nothing to write home about. They turned the waves way down, and there were no tubes. I don't think we will be going back unfortunately. I will stick to the Worlds of Fun side.
