Olympic pool and Olympic diving facility, plus a 25-yard competition pool for adults and kids.
The main Olympic-size 50-meter lap pool at the Lancaster Aquatic Center is consistently maintained at a temperature between 78-80 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 25.5-26.7 degrees Celsius). The diving well's temperature is generally kept at a similar range.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The swimming facility garners mixed reviews. Positive aspects frequently highlighted include great facilities, ample spectator room, clean locker room areas, and helpful lifeguards. Some users also noted the pool is well-maintained. However, significant concerns were raised regarding cleanliness, particularly of the poolside, with calls for improved custodial staff. A major point of dissatisfaction is the facility's limited and inconvenient operating hours, which significantly hinder accessibility for UK students, faculty, and staff who often feel deprioritized. Other criticisms include a confusing scoreboard, overall design issues, and the water being a bit chilly.

Great facilities and ample spectator room. Locker room areas are clean and parking is also decent.
A well-maintained collegiate swimming pool. The water is a little chilly, but I get used to it after a few laps!
The place is nice. The cleanliness of the poolside could be a little better. But overall very Nice.
Facility is great and the lifeguards are very nice and always helpful, but the hours are horrible. At it's core, a facility is only as good as it's accessibility, hence the low rating. Seems that UK students, faculty, and staff take backseat to every other user: UK swim team (understandable during season, but not year-round), local youth teams, Masters, etc. Most, if not all, peer institutions have much better hours and usually a dedicated rec lap pool. It is by far the most frustrating pool I've ever used for this reason alone. Please staff the pool in the morning and late evening.
This is the worst pool in division one that we have visited so far. They certainly need a new custodial staff to say the least. The overall design just isn't as nice as others. The score board is a little confusing and not as clear as others. The seats are very roomy though.
