What are people saying (AI review summary)? This YMCA natatorium is described as a single-purpose facility with a large, 10-lane pool that is generally clean and well-suited for lap swimming, though family swim is limited to two lanes. Reviewers frequently praise its excellent location, convenient hours, and the positive demeanor of its staff and lifeguards, with specific instructors like Nadine and Colleen receiving commendation. It also features a small kids' pool and offers reasonably priced birthday parties. However, there are significant drawbacks: the building is old, locker rooms are often cold, dirty, and frequently lack hot water in showers. There are also complaints about limited lane availability due to swim teams, a non-existent weight area, a cold sauna, and a lack of separate children's/swim team locker rooms. Conflicting feedback exists regarding the front desk staff, with some describing them as ignorant. Despite these issues, many users find the facility functional, and its location and staff often compensate for its shortcomings.

This building is a single purpose natatorium, part of a larger YMCA organization. I have been swimming here for about a decade and can compare it to about a dozen or so I have swam t over the last 30 years. Cons: Old building Always cold in the locker rooms Showers often do not have hot water Often have limited lanes due to swim teams No separate children's or swim team locker rooms Pros: Great location, 1 minute from Rts 287, 22, 202, 206 and 28. 10 lanes Great hours Very nice staff Life guards always show (nothing worse than waiting for late life guards) Small kids pool This is not a luxury pool, but it does the job and the location and staff overcomes any downsides. Also you can do a birthday party for a reasonable price
The locker room is dirty and the people at front desk are ignorant and need training on how to communicate with members as customers.
Nadine was very nice. The pool is always clean and the instructors were friendly. Went for safety swim for my daughter and she loved it. I recommend Nadine and Colleen for swimming. I don't remember the male instructor but he was very welcoming too.
My last visit here was before the pandemic. When I couldn't go swimming here anymore, I knew that I would miss it very much. Today I came back here after 3 years because I had been training in another gym in the meantime. Working monotonously only with weights isn't fun for me in the long run and I love being in the water. Going swimming again was the best idea I had today.
Pool is large and clean, but primarily for lap swimming. They do have family swim but 2 lanes are designated for it. Weight area is fairly non-existent with 2 old bikes and a few random dumbbells. They do have a sauna but no hot tub. Sauna was cold when I went in.
