About

The Roger Fay Williston Park Pool, located at 270 Broad St, Williston Park, NY, is a well-known municipal outdoor swimming facility. It serves as a community hub during the summer months, offering recreational swimming for all ages, a dedicated kiddie pool, and often hosts swimming lessons and special events for residents of Williston Park and surrounding areas.

Specific, consistently published pool temperatures for the Roger Fay Williston Park Pool are not readily available in public information sources. As a seasonal outdoor community pool, its water temperature would typically fluctuate with the prevailing weather conditions.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for Williston Park Pool are mixed, highlighting a stark contrast between its kid-friendly amenities and the condition of its facilities. Many patrons praise the pool for its daily activities, diving boards, water slide, and generally well-maintained pool and picnic areas, making it a good option for children. However, a significant and recurring complaint across multiple reviews pertains to the bathrooms and changing facilities, which are consistently described as gross, dirty, old, moldy, and in need of renovation, especially given the cost of season passes. Additionally, one severe review reported a dangerous incident where an individual was allegedly physically pushed into the pool by employees, resulting in a concussion and a complete lack of accountability or care from staff, raising serious safety concerns.

Incredible! members for 2 years.. bathrooms are a little gross but you can ride wrapped up in a towel and shower at home.. activities, stories and arts and crafts every day.. also, there are diving boards and a water slide to accommodate the kids.. next summer we will sign up again.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but what happened to me at Williston Park Pool was beyond unacceptable and dangerous. During my visit, I was physically pushed into the pool by employees, completely unprovoked. I hit my head, suffered a concussion, and had to be rushed to the emergency room. This wasn’t a minor accident — it was a serious medical emergency caused by unprofessional and reckless behavior from the staff. At no point did anyone take accountability or show concern for my well-being. I was treated with zero care or urgency, despite being visibly injured and disoriented. I’m still shaken and dealing with the aftermath of what should’ve been a relaxing day. I strongly urge anyone considering this pool to stay away for your own safety. What happened to me should never happen to anyone.

Bathrooms are horrible. They are dirty and mosquitoes all over. We paid $500+ for season pass which is expensive for a family of three but they can not maintain and clean the restrooms and changing areas. Way too old and needs renovation and cleanliness.

Bathrooms and showers are disgusting. Things are falling apart and showers are moldy. However, the picnic area and rest of the pool areas are well taken care of. Enough seats for everyone, shade, and toys for the kids.

Lovely for kids. Has day passes that members can use to get non-members in.
