This was my favourite tourist attraction in Manhattan. Classic Keith Haring mural and the setting for an iconic scene in Raging Bull - where Jake first meets Vicky. Classic New York City. Sadly closed at the moment, but you can still see in.

This is the worst pool I have ever been too in my life. There is a reason why it is free. Lockers are always being broken into, the lifeguards and staff are rude and disrespectful, and patrons are simply kicked out of this facility for barely a reason. If you wish to be treated less than a human being, continue to go to Carmine pool. If not, just pay money to be in a safe space. Simply keep an eye out on a FAT HISPANIC LIFEGUARD in the summer. When she is on her period she is evil to innocent children.

Pool has clean and refreshing water. But the locker room is filthy. Rules are very restrictive (e.g. no phone at the pool). Cool mural by Keith Haring.
