Free recreational park with a splash pad and a playground.
As a splash pad rather than a traditional pool, the Dr. Phillips Splash Pad typically uses unheated municipal water. Therefore, specific 'pool temperatures' are generally not provided and the water temperature would vary with the ambient air and ground temperatures, similar to tap water.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Dr. Phillips Park Splash Pad is a popular and free community attraction, open for the summer, but can be closed intermittently, which might disappoint children. It offers distinct areas for toddlers and older kids, along with a decent playground and ample space. While generally free, it usually has a charge. The splash pad operates in sessions, closing for about 15 minutes every two hours. It's often busy, so bringing your own chair is recommended, and shaded areas are available. Pavilions require reservations far in advance. Parents should be cautious as children running on the wet surfaces can slip and fall.
Reviews
Dr phillips park Splash pad is open today 04/18/2024. It is a fun place for summer but sometimes it’s closed which makes my kids upset. There are no tickets, it’s free for everyone.
Pretty good community splash pad. Bring your own chair. They have chairs, but not many and this place gets busy. There is a spot for bigger kids and one for toddlers. It normally has a charge but right now is free. Also, notice that it is not always running because they have sessions and it closes for about 15 minutes every two hours.
Good place. Decent playground and splash pad. Lots of space away from the main area too. Good views of Icon park. If you want to reserve a pavilion, you must do it months or even years in advance.
Good splash park with a wide area for kids to run around. Shaded areas for parents to avoid the sun a bit.
It's a good splash pad, but be careful. Lots of kids would try to run, which would cause them to slip and fall, getting scrapes from the ground.
