He installed a controller on our pool heat pump at a good price. Came and went from the house without us knowing he was here. Only concern: communication was not good.

The water heater and remote wifi system work fine. Using the system and the app was all new to us. Although I’ve expressed my concerns about figuring out the filter/pump/heating process etc, we never really got the help to manage the wifi system fully. YouTube videos don’t quite cut it. It would have been simpler to show a step-by-step app manipulation. We figured out, months after the install, that we had to click on the word INTERNET in order to access all the functions ! I feel like it could have been explained by the people who installed, it’s basic customer service. Instead, I’ve been getting short, very passive answers from Janet. Maybe because she doesn’t know how to manage the system herself.

We had Pool Heater Guy out to fix our pool heater last year and the tech was fantastic. Unfortunately, he told us we'd be lucky to have the heater for another year, as it was in bad shape. His prediction was accurate, and yesterday we had Pool Heater Guy out to install a new unit. It's a Thermeau unit from Quebec, Canada! The techs were out early, got the job done quickly. They worked cleanly, and hauled off our old rusty unit. They installed a new, larger breaker, to accommodate the new unit and provided the user manual and warranty information. Phil and his crew are the best!

Great experience with the Pool Heater Guy. He was going to install a new pool heater, but ran into some complications. He worked around it and kept our price the same. Very easy to deal with. And the work was done quickly.
