Take these reviews with a grain of salt, because everyone’s looking for something different. I’ve been to many gyms, and this gym is the best I’ve had in quite some time. Having a laid back facility with all the amenities is what does it for me. I’ve not been to a gym that had indoor basketball, indoor swimming, overall good equipment, hot tub, sauna, and a steam room all in one place! I may bring the average age down at 45, but I don’t mind. Lots of fun!
I'd like to focus on the kid fit. All the ladies are absolutely so wonderful and really care about your child. I will never trust another gym facility with my kids, I would rather drive 30 min to have my kids in a safe and trusted environment.
Large exercise facility. Lots of machines and free weights. Certain machines seem to always be busy. You can get access to them but you might have to wait a turn. There's a pool saunas jacuzzi pretty much everything you want. A large walking ring to make the lapse. Even have a little cafe where you can get snacks. The people working there seem to be friendly.
I joined the gym through Active and Fit, and it's okay. I have been to a few gyms, and I have been to a couple of gyms and this gym has very few amenities for cardio and weights. They have two leg presses that uses traditional weights, and one leg press machine in the entire building, the abs machine was broken, and I can tell the pools aren't properly maintained. They are going to be down for the next 4 weeks for resurfacing, and I can tell the pools haven't had work done on them in a very, very long time, and in-door pool surfaces shouldn't break down like this. My swim club did a deep cleaning once a year and re-sealed it once a year over two weeks, and only had to be fully resurfaced after 15 years. I also want to point out, that the swim instructors really don't know what they are doing, they are teaching the kids wrong, and are not focusing on form, so the kids that are learning to swim in the most inefficient way possible, which means for water safety, they would easily get exhausted. It took me less than 3 minutes to correct one girls form as her brother was getting lessons. Additionally, they really do need to mark which lanes are for which, I had a person get in my lane when I was practicing which resulted in a near miss when I nearly wacked her in the head swimming butterfly. That said, I think for the 75 dollars a month that they normally charge, they should hire a lifeguard, I don't think it's acceptable to have the pools unguarded, especially with the age of the crowd.
First, the daycare at the gym is a 5/5 - the ladies are absolutely amazing and honestly the only reason we stick around to use this gym. Otherwise I really wish I could give this gym a better rating because the staff is so kind and we love the daycare but the hot water is constantly going out in the women's bathroom, the showers are pretty gross, sauna is dirty and there's constant maintenance issues that take forever to be fixed. The gym is really outdated and needs a re-vamp and new set up along with some updated equipment.
