Venue offering a swimming pool with a waterslide, plus swim lessons.
The main pool at Sherwood Park Pool is typically heated. Information from the City of Melbourne suggests it is usually maintained at a comfortable temperature of approximately 82 degrees Fahrenheit year-round.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews cover two distinct subjects: a swimming facility and a school. The swimming facility receives mixed feedback. Positives include a clean pool, friendly and knowledgeable staff (especially for toddler swimming classes, with instructors praised for understanding child psychology and helping children overcome fears), a newly installed heater for winter, and a fair price. One reviewer noted it's usually not too crowded despite limited hours. However, significant drawbacks include limited public access, with one user expressing extreme frustration that the pool is 'never open' for general use, often reserved for schools and camps, and being unreachable by phone. Other cons include limited shade, seating, and lap lanes, as well as high summer temperatures. Separately, a school receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with a reviewer praising the nice principal and vice principal, welcoming staff, top-tier ratings, and the fact that all five grandchildren love attending.

Great little pool. It gets pretty hot during the summer but you get used to it quickly. And then later in the season you wish it was nice and warm again as the temperature drops! They do have a newly installed heater which is great for winter swim practices.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean pool, usually not too crowded, and a fair price to visit. Cons: Limited shade, limited seating, limited lap lanes, limited hours of operation.
5 of my grandchildren go to this school, the principal and voice principal are very nice,I have nothing but great experience with everyone i met at this school, this is a school that all my grandchildren love, and that for me speaks volumes. Plus, the school ratings are top-tier 👌
I was hesitant but I decided to try the swimming classes for my toddler and the instructors have amazed me. They (specially Michael) have really good knowledge about children psychology and know how to help them face their fears. All the other instructors are super sweet too and the pool is very clean.
Why is this place never open?! It’s always closed, or when it IS open, it’s for schools and summer camps? That’s great and all, but I’ve lived here for 2 years and have yet to swim at this pool. We had to stop driving by it on our way to and from school just so my daughter would stop asking to go. Nobody answers the phone number. It’ll be middle of summer, closed….. What is our city doing with the money we give it?!
