We’ve had a wonderful experience at Big Blue Swim School. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly invested in helping children grow. My daughter has learned so much since starting—her confidence in the water has improved tremendously, and she’s picked up important swimming skills at a pace that keeps her both challenged and excited. The program makes learning fun while still being structured, and I’m so grateful to see her progress and enjoy every lesson.

We signed up for a trial lesson and I reached out let them know that my son was special needs and didn't do well with crowds. I got the confirmation to move forward with the appointment. Our time was 5pm, we literally walked in at 5:07 I came up to the check in the lady said Hi, unfortunately because of our 10 minute grace period , we will have to reschedule. Mind you, we drove from an hour away. Meanwhile my son is staring at the pool wanting to go in. There were a ton of kids and a lot going on, but he was just excited to get in the water. He started to have a meltdown when told he couldn't go in. After voicing my frustration about this they let him in for a few minutes but he wasn't able to focus so we had to come back out. The manager Tatum spoke with me and said she would reschedule my son for Friday at 9 as the pool would be almost empty and he'd have a better experience. I call on Thursday to confirm. I was told the appointment wasn't on the trial schedule but that he was probably on the private one and I should come. After another hour long drive Friday morning, we get there just for an assistant to tell me we aren't on the schedule and that Tatum never confirmed anything. I told the assistant I met and spoke with Tatum that Monday and she personally scheduled it. The assistant walked away and called the manager on the phone, they spoke for about 10 minutes.She came back with the same story no talk of rescheduling just a message from Tatum that she never confirmed anything with me. When I asked to speak with her the assistant said, I'm sorry this is her day off and she said she won't be speaking with anyone until she returns. A completely unprofessional and disappointed experience. It showed me that this company is not helpful or willing to provide services for special needs kids and their families.

My family has had a 5 star experience! The coaches are all very talented and are teaching my little one so many great skills! I have a toddler and my husband is in with our 4 month old and they all LOVE it! Coach Camille and Coach Ashley are so amazing and been so nurturing in helping my little ones in their classes! The front desk are always so wonderful and happy to help! The managers are fantastic at making sure our concerns are heard and addressed! The cost aligns with the service you receive and the classes never get out early or start late like I’ve had at other places. Very blessed and thankful I found this amazing school for my family! Can’t wait to see them in our neighborhood pool showing off what they learn!

My son David, who is almost 3.5 years old, had his first trial swimming lesson yesterday, and we were both very happy with the experience. Coach Mikaella was fantastic — kind, professional, and wonderful with young children. The whole facility is clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere felt safe, warm, and welcoming — which is especially important for little ones and their parents. Everything from the service to the pool area is done just right. One small note — a few of the hair dryers didn’t seem to be working, so it might be helpful to check them, especially since this is the only place available for drying hair after class.
