Complex with 50-meter indoor and outdoor competition pools, plus a 25-yard programming pool.
The facility typically maintains its main competition pools at approximately 78-80°F (25.5-26.6°C), ideal for competitive swimming. Its instructional or warm-up pool is generally kept at a warmer temperature, around 84-86°F (28.8-30°C), to ensure comfort for swim lessons and recreational use.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews present a mixed view of the facility. While the pool itself and the deck experience for swimmers are generally positive, and amenities like the restaurant and parking are noted, there are significant criticisms. These include a trainer allegedly pushing overpriced swim gear from a specific store, poor customer service regarding refunds with unresponsive emails and rude staff, and a highly unsatisfactory spectator experience due to poor seating views and disrespectful staff. Additionally, the women's locker room is described as unsanitary with mold and broken showers, and open swim hours are considered disappointing.

Why is the swim team trainer pushing people to buy swim gear like snorkel, dress, etc. from a certain store in Cary and ? Kick backs, relative own the store? Such a scam. Costed me a fortune with overpriced products and 20% discount.
Nice facility for the swimmers. Extremely poor seating design for spectators. If your child is swimming in lanes 7 or 8 then you will never be able to watch them swim. The facility staff need to learn manners. Verbally rude to spectators that paid to watch their kids. Payment to watch wasn't just to sit try to watch a little TV screen. The State championships should be at the GAC. This is my first experience and I don't look forward to future visits. I'm excited for my son but very disappointed with my experience.
They don’t respond to the emails about refunds but they do respond about the registration. It looks like they want to keep people’s money who have credits and can’t enroll into their new system. It takes one email to respond to show a good customer service but they don’t. The front desk is rude by repeating a script and eventually saying to way for a half a year to get the refunds.
Very disappointing open swim hours for recreational swimmers. The women's locker room is disgusting, mold in the showers, shower curtains dirty and moldy. At least 4 showers broken.
A very nice pool. Lots of seating, but views are not good, unless you sit in the front row. The swimmers liked the deck experience and the feel of the pool. The restaurant has a nice selection of hot and cold food, as well as, drinks. The restroom facilities are adequate, but not that great when the pool building is full of people. Parking is good, but a short walk.
