What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this public pool present a mixed experience for visitors. Many praise the facility for its cleanliness, affordability for both residents and non-residents, and overall fun atmosphere, leading some to promise a return visit. However, there are significant recurring complaints about the staff, who are frequently described as rude and unhelpful, especially towards families with children. Specific issues include refusal to deploy the diving board, restricting children's use of floating devices unless doing laps, and a general perception that staff are trying to convert the public pool into an adults-only lap swimming facility, despite it being tax-funded. One review specifically mentioned a staff member making racist remarks. The environment was also described as hot and humid by some, although the facilities themselves are generally considered clean and conveniently located.

This is a public pool that the staff has decided to turn into a lap pool for adults only. They are literally so rude to anyone who comes with children. If you show up with kids, they refuse to pull down the diving board even though it's the only public pool with a diving board near our home. They say they don't have enough staff, but you can clearly see several lifeguards milling around and only a handful of adults swimming laps in the pool. They have commandeered this public pool into their own little private swim club. It actually makes me very angry because it is tax money from all of us that is funding this pool.
Place Overall was amazing. The pool was very clean, you could see everything with your eyes open, it is also very cheap for non residents of Raleigh. And for residents of Raleigh it is also very cheap, I suggest going there because it was very fun for me and my family.
Place is hot and humid and the staff are rude. They Wouldn't let a little kid use a floating device unless he was doing laps. And then was rude to the family explaining that to. A worker there named Jez Diaz was the worst one and even made racist remarks.
The staff at the front was a bit stern but all in all a good experience! Clean facilities, convenient location by the park
I went today first time enjoyed it and will be back!
