What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Kraft YMCA generally receives highly positive feedback, with members consistently praising its friendly and welcoming staff, excellent facilities, and diverse programs. Specific highlights include a clean childcare service, amazing pools with a popular slide, and ample fitness equipment that is rarely too busy. Front desk representatives like Andrea are particularly noted for being kind, informative, and patient, even during tours with toddlers. The main area for improvement noted is the inconsistent enforcement of policies, specifically regarding phone usage on the gym floor, which led one member to feel unfairly singled out while others openly disregarded the rule.

I've been going to this location for over a year now and I love the childcare they offer, it's clean and for most part the staff is friendly. But I've had a couple of situations where they came and told me to not scroll on my phone. I checked my phone to make sure the daycare did not need me to come get my son and to respond quickly to a message. I was in-between sets, probably 5 secs looking at my phone. But I was compliant and put my phone away. Both times I looked around and noticed 5+ people scrolling on their phones, all of which spent minutes on them. Sitting on the machines looking down at their phones. Once being told is fine, but second time being told and only telling me while the girl in front of me sitting on the machine have been on her phone since I started my set. Maybe if you're going to uphold a policy make sure it's being told to everyone there.
The lady at the front desk gave me an amazing tour yesterday while I wrangled my toddler. She didn't seem at all fazed that my attention was split. I look forward to joining, it feels very welcoming.
I’m leaving this review specifically for Andrea - front desk representative at Kraft YMCA. I called to speak with the youth director for the summer camp as I had some questions before registering — Andrea was so kind, so informative and generous in answering my questions around payment, the flow and schedule of camp, and what I can expect overall. Thank you again, Andrea!
The Kraft YMCA is really awesome. All the people, programs, and facilities are amazing. We love coming to the pool all summer. What a good slide!
Friendliest staff of all the Y's I've been to in the area. Great facilities, tons of free-weights and cardio equipment. Never too busy that I have to wait on my next exercise. Pool is very nice, and the list of other amenities is huge! Love being a part of this gym/community
