*I am updating my review* after posting my original review, the apartment management group reached out to me to apologize for my move out experience and make things right. Overall I feel as though they handled the complaint well and were fair with the deposit that they returned and with what they charged for cleaning. I lived here for 7 years so I feel like I can give a fair review. While my experience living here was average. For the amount you are going to pay in rent living here, these apartments are slightly outdated. While the apartment was nicely sized and had vaulted ceiling - They are difficult to maintain a consistent temperature during the summer and winter months. The trash situation is a PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERN. For the number of units and people living here, one would think there would be more than one garage area. Often the compactor would be broken or overfilled leading to many residents just leaving their trash on the ground in front of the compactor. In my 7 years of living here there have been at least 7 different property managers in the office. The best manager that they ever hired was Seth Cole. He honestly did so much to try and tackle the trash situation while he was working there, which is a huge win for him in my book. However, it seems as though maintenance here is really a reflection on the property manager that they have working. The later half of living in the apartments maintenance improved quite a bit. It went from my leaky kitchen sink being fixed with a bungee cord, to the glass in my fridge not being replaced for two weeks, to getting a brand new washer the same day the washer broke (thanks Seth!) I will say though that the after hours emergency line could use some improvement. We had electrical issues where there was smoke coming out of the plug and when we called the after hours emergency number and left a message, no one called us back and we had to go down there in person the next day to get our melted device fixed. These apartment are alright to live in, they got the job done for the time that I was there with minimal issues. I do appreciate the time that the management group took to reach out and resolve the issue that we originally had. I feel like it’s not often that you get a rental company who will take the time to reach out after you have moved out but these folks did.
The maintenance team here is excellent. They respond quickly to requests, communicate clearly, and fix issues properly the first time. I really appreciate their professionalism and how they help keep the apartment comfortable and safe. I am very satisfied with their works and services. Excellent customer service !
We rented for two years knowing it was cheap, and expected the living conditions to reflect that. Recently, the rent increased twice—initially with a notice and then a higher increase a month later. We’ve unanimously decided to move elsewhere, especially since online listings show similar units nearby for less than what we’re paying. It feels like a money grab, and you’d expect them to want long-term residents instead. While our experience hasn’t been entirely negative, several ongoing issues remain. The complex has only one dumpster, which often breaks or overflows. Management’s only solution has been a camera to fine residents for trash on the ground, but that doesn’t address the root problem of inadequate waste management. Safety is another concern—there are no cameras at the mailboxes, which have been broken into multiple times. Speed bumps do little to slow fast cars, and they damage low-clearance vehicles. Neighbors have been visited by police multiple times, with loud banging at odd hours. Our unit was listed as a “first floor/ground” apartment but was effectively a basement, with poor appliances—including a dishwasher that frequently broke or malfunctioned. The soap dispenser latch was broken, yet since it was outside the 5-day repair window, we were blamed. The bathroom fan, dishwasher, dryer, and hot water heater are old and loud, and management has never serviced or deep-cleaned these appliances, posing potential safety hazards. Neighbor issues include very thin walls and limited parking, with neighbors often parking in our assigned spot—management told us we need to call a tow truck ourselves. Pet waste is a recurring problem; neighbors with multiple pets routinely leave feces on their porch, which they refuse to clean despite photos sent to management. Communication with management has been inconsistent—reports about pet waste were ignored or forgotten, and we were falsely fined for furniture left out by neighbors. In summer, management banned all BBQs on the property, yet they held community events with BBQs in the pool area, which seems hypocritical. Overall, our advice is to document everything if you rent here. We felt we were being taken advantage of financially and didn’t feel safe. The reviews have worsened, rightly so, since we moved in. Improvements like adding more trash compactors, security cameras, updating appliances, cleaning the property, and enforcing rules would likely improve resident retention and overall satisfaction, reducing reliance on promotional incentives like rent credits or referral bonuses.
Terrible. Do not move here. They are charging me move out fees for “damages” that were just normal wear and tear for which they are not legally allowed to charge. As well as a ridiculous cleaning fee and I paid to break my lease I was SO unhappy here. Disgusting property, dog poop everywhere as well as garbage. ONE garbage compactor on the premises that is constantly breaking and overflowing. Dangerous driving and parking on fire lanes and crosswalks. Rules are never enforced. People smoke and leave cigarette butts in non smoking areas. I am taking them to court due to fees they are not allowed to charge. Would rate zero stars if I could. This place is a scam and an utter rip off. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This is the most ridiculous place my roommates and I have ever been. We walked in person, met and talked with Grayson, showed us an apartment and everything was great. We told him we were moving states and we had savings to pay for the price he gave us. He said “it’s really simple and easy to get a place here”… which was a straight lie. They asked ridiculous things of us about certain paperwork and at least 12 MONTHS of rent which was not discussed at all to us nor anywhere in the application that we had to pay for. Lies, lies, lies. OH! And when we called to check on the status of everything they completely ignored our phone calls. They just want your money, don’t waste your time.
