What are people saying (AI review summary)? This swimming facility is generally well-regarded for its children's swim lessons, which receive positive feedback for instruction, timely operation, and helpful staff. The facility is described as clean with easy access and ample parking, offering a full-size pool, swimsuit dryers in locker rooms, and available pool noodles and kickboards. However, significant concerns include persistent issues with "green" water that impedes visibility. While one review mentions a full-size pool, another describes the swim area as "really small" compared to the diving area, requiring extra awareness of other swimmers. Visitors should also be aware that the indoor environment can be hot and humid, and they must bring their own locks for lockers, as life vests are not provided. Lessons cancelled due to cold water are reimbursed.
Reviews
A great option for swimming. Lessons available for children.
The staff here has been very nice whenever we've had questions. The facility is clean and well kept, and the pool is a full size pool. Locker rooms have the spinning things to dry off your swimsuit. They offer swim lessons here from American Red Cross Levels 1-6. Instructors rotate sometimes but that's not an issue. This is also the pool for Tualatin High School, which is obvious when you see all the banners on the wall. Access off the road is easy and there's plenty of parking. It does get a little hot and humid inside, which is to be expected since it's a building with a warm swimming pool inside. If you're bringing your kids here for lessons, make sure you don't wear warm clothes in here if you're coming in when it's cold outside.
The water seems to be perpetually Green. They never seem to fix it. If your kids are Irish, you are good. Otherwise, you can't see them in the green mire. So Green, seriously.
The swim area is really small, especially compared to the diving area. You have to be extra, extra aware of other swimmers. You'll need to bring your own lock if you intend to use a locker - otherwise, take all of your gear with you to the pool side to keep a better eye on it, when you aren't under water that is. They have wonderful pool noodles and kick boards available for use. No life vests, but the noodles really are fabulous.
My boys had been attending swimming lessons and I'm so happy with the instructions. They start and end on time. When the water is cold they call ahead to let you know they're canceling the practice and they will reimburse.
