I took my daughter to toddler time today for the first time, it was very fun! Great way to get her energy out. The only reason I took off a star is because I went to the cafe after and once I ordered there was a roach on the counter where you pay for the food. The worker didn’t seem too concerned, she killed the roach and then went back to grabbing my food.. I still paid for my food but it definitely made it less appealing.. so I’ll come here for toddler time but not food again lol
I really like the Kroc center and enjoy bringing my daughter to the pool once in a while. A day pass just to go in the pool gets pretty pricey if you don’t have a membership. I don’t really understand why they charged me $16 to literally just stand here and watch my daughter swim because she isn’t of age. (She’s 9). The lady at front desk told me that I have to stay near her. So I can’t even sit down. I’m pregnant and I don’t want to swim because people aren’t careful. I don’t really think they should charge that price just to sit and watch. It’s absurd. On the positive side it is a nice place and clean.
**Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)** We just became members of this facility, and we absolutely love everything about it! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from day one. The only reason we are giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the cleanliness of the women's bathrooms, showers, changing rooms and lockers. There are quite a few hairs scattered on the floor, which makes the spaces feel less tidy than they should be. We believe this could be easily resolved by increasing the cleaning shifts. The truth is, the experience here is very enjoyable, but the lack of cleanliness in the areas where people shower and have to be barefoot is a downside. Other than that, it's a fantastic place, and we truly enjoy coming here!
Had an amazing birthday party there a week ago with the party room and Leisure pool. Truly was the best kids birthday party I’ve ever been to and made my 5 year old so happy. I couldn’t have created a better birthday for him. Not only lots of smiles and fun with the kids but the parents/adults had just as much fun! I’d even love to go there on my birthday and just have fun! The little kids slide was a hit, the lighthouse slide was fun for the adults and big kids. The lazy river was fun to float in and relax. Nice clean facility, changing/shower/bath rooms that work great for families. Bring a lock to lock items in a locker! Huge thanks to the Kroc Center and their staff! ❤️
If it weren’t for the design and aesthetics of building I’d give it zero stars.Expensive day passes that are not all inclusive of all gym amenities - which they don’t tell you before purchasing. The front staff also do not tell you pool rules or gym rules before you purchase day pass… such as you can not use massage beds … you can’t change in locker rooms in the open … must changed in closed bathrooms… you must be 14 and over to use hot tubs… you must stand within arms reach of your child under 6… the place felt so micromanaged it was more like a jail than a gym… I never had an encounter with any staff there that was not about a rule they wanted me to follow! The pool was a cute design and pretty clean but the lap swim pool was closed as well as the slide because they are so “understaffed”. They got lifeguards all over blowing their whistles over small stuff but when a 10 year old girl got a bloody nose no one noticed for minutes… someone actually had to go get the lifeguard’s attention. But for gosh sakes… sit on the hot tubs tile you’re getting ridiculed and reprimanded. I mean I work in healthcare and I was not impressed at all- with the rules made for “safety” and the lack of awareness when safety issues actually occurred. Staff seemed rude with poor communication skills when explaining the rules or asking you to do anything. Front staff ridiculous. Came to the pool at 4…the close at 9 we were told “pool at capacity” and 30 people on waitlist. We explained we wanted a day pass and we’re not told we needed IDs or given any advice for preparation the next day with them aware that we planned on returning the next day. One staff member knowing we had been waiting for 15 minutes to get in the pool (we came before they open the next day) sat for 10 minutes with us standing in front of her messing around on a computer and conferring with coworkers… when I finally decided to ask what was wrong she said “oh I can’t login… there is something wrong with my login.” Ummm then have someone else login and help us… this is probably the worst community pool I’ve been to.
