What are people saying (AI review summary)? AquaTech Swim School receives high praise for its effective and engaging swim instruction, catering to a wide range of ages from infants (7 months) to older children, including those initially terrified of water. Reviewers consistently highlight the welcoming, kind, and skilled instructors who utilize fun methods like songs and games, clean facilities, and a methodical approach that ensures skill mastery. The school's year-round operation is also appreciated. However, a notable concern emerged regarding the lack of a clear and compassionate policy for children with disabilities, specifically concerning flexible makeup token policies for health-related absences. This inconsistency in policy application and instances of unhelpful staff interactions caused significant frustration for one parent. Additionally, while effective, the thorough teaching method was occasionally described as feeling repetitive.

We love AquaTech Swim School! We've been attending the Concord location for our daughter's first swim lessons - she started classes at 7 months old. We decided to start her getting comfortable with large bodies of water in anticipation of a vacation we had coming up close to her 10 month birthday, and weren't sure how things would go starting her a bit on the younger side. From the moment we arrived for our first tadpole lesson at AquaTech Concord, the staff was so welcoming, kind, and helpful! The facilities themselves are clean, well laid out, and they have a nice waiting area for parents to watch their kiddos swim as they become older and more advanced with lessons. (We attend class with our little one, since her tadpole classes include 1 parent or guardian in the water with them). Overall, each instructor seems to go above and beyond to make your little ones feel comfortable and confident in the water by using fun songs, toys, and games. The tadpole classes we attended were fantastic as well because the instructors took the time to thoroughly explain the drills we were doing, as well as how it would benefit baby in the water and ways we could practice at home if you had a bathtub. We look forward to each class and feel very confident that we'll all have a blast on vacation enjoying pool time safely now! Thank you AquaTech Swim Concord for such a fantastic experience so far!
Love AquaTech Swim School. I've went there for about a year and a half so my 9 year old kid could learn to swim. My kid didn't know how to swim at all when they started, and the goal was to get them to a point where we could safely go to a waterpark or swimming pool and they can be comfortable. This school delivers on that. They have a very methodical approach and my kid didn't move up level until they were ready. I'd say the only drawback to that method is that the class can feel repetitive so I made sure to tell my kid to ask the teacher what they should be working on and what to do differently exactly so they can achieve their goal and get to the next level. After a year and a half of weekly 30-minute class, my kid went from Seahorse to Tigershark level, but of course this is going to be different for every kid. My kid loves swimming in general so they were very motivated to learn. Overall, I'd recommend this school.
Aqua tech doesn’t have any policy for kids with any kind of disability. My daughter who is type 1 diabetic going to aqua swimming since 2023. And in January 2024 there was a manager I don’t remember her name she didn’t have uniform on. I talked to her about my daughter being diabetic and sometime she can’t come due to her BG not being stable and loose her make up token because we can’t report the time to be eligible for the token. She told the employee there to allow my daughter a make up token if she can’t make it on her class even if it’s 10 min before her class. After that never had any issues that I have to request the make up token after their required time frame. Yesterday, on june25th. Her BG was not staying normal and I had to call the doctor and I canceled her class but it 1.5 hour before her class. Than I called and explained the situation and the person who was on call was so rude and he was not understanding the situation and keep talking about their 2 hour prior policy. He could see it’s written in her chart and he was keep ignoring and making me feel that I am lying and I just want to get a token. This is so frustrating. They don’t have any policy for kids with some disablity
My 5 year old was terrified to even get her head wet in the bathtub prior to us attending AquaTech. A few short months later, it is her absolute favorite place to go. The staff are kind and the environment is so safe. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who has a nervous/scared toddler.
It took us a long time to find an indoor swim school once we moved to this area. We love that they operate all year. My son has been going here for over a year and loves it! The staff have been so friendly and we have not had a single teacher that isn't great with kids! They were great in helping my little transitions from parent and me classes to independent lessons. He always has so much fun and loves coming each week!
