I played water polo here, By far one of the nicest pools I have ever swam in. I look forward to coming here every other year. The viewing experience is amazing looking into the arena.
Beautiful pool, beautiful diving boards. I was invited inside by the last woman I dated to get a close view; COOL PLACE. As a former lifeguard & swimmer, I'm definitely going to be looking at joining the *swim* team, and perhaps applying to be a lifeguard (once I re-up my training and such). Not sure about the diving coach, though. Weird vibes.
Visited for the water polo game during the weekend. Great place to visit and amazing facility.
It has a nice swimming pool, but the ladies' locker room needs a thorough cleaning. The shower curtains have probably not been washed since they were put up, and they smelled mildewed. Hair was also on the shower walls. Why is that a thing? Yuck
Avery is the most impressive aquatic stadium in the US. Home to Stanford’s many championships in Diving, Swimming and Waterpolo. Covered on both the East and West sides, shade is always available and there’s not a bad seat in the house. We came to watch 10U National Junior Olympics. To watch our kids start their water polo journeys in such hallowed water was a memory for a lifetime!
