Public swimming pool with a 25-meter main pool and a kids' area for splashing and lessons.
The pools at Belle Haven Pool are heated for comfort. The 25-yard lap pool is typically maintained around 80-81°F (26.7-27.2°C) for active swimming. The instructional/recreation pool, ideal for lessons and family use, is kept warmer, usually around 88-90°F (31.1-32.2°C). Additionally, a spa is often available, heated to approximately 102-104°F (38.9-40°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews present a mixed picture, highlighting both positive aspects of the swimming facility and significant operational and customer service issues. On the positive side, the 25-meter pool is generally not crowded, making it suitable for lap swimming, with available pull buoys and kickboards. Its location is a major draw, being adjacent to various community amenities and well-connected by public transport. However, recurring complaints point to poor customer service, including unresponsiveness to rescheduling requests, unfulfilled refund promises after unexpected closures, and difficulties reaching management. Other concerns include the absence of drinking fountains, aging lane lines, and water temperatures that some find too warm, alongside perceptions of high pricing for the service provided.

We were stuck in the unexpected traffic on the way to the swimming class. The front desk said they can arrange rescheduling of the class. However, after we got home and sent a rescheduling email, they just don’t reply. Called front desk again and they said they cannot work on rescheduling right now. Such a lier! We have been here for almost 2 years and will seriously consider to switch to other places!
Usually not crowded. There are no drinking fountains! Bring your own lock (as usual). Pull buoys and kick boards are available. Pool lane lines are serviceable but are quite old: they are often loose or have jagged edges
I like this pool for lap swimming. Drop in fee is a couple dollars less then the Burgess Park pool and not nearly as crowded. The Lap swim lanes are set up in the deep area of the pool (6ft - 13ft) and is 25 meters. The water is a warmer than I prefer...It's more than 82. Check for lap time hours and availability.
Stole my money. Not only did they charged $10 to swim for 35 minutes (ridiculously overpriced even for the area) they also kicked me out of the pool after 15 minutes because of a "maintenance issue". They assured me that I would be refunded, which never happend, so I called them about a month ago and none of the managers were available during their own hours. Left a voicemail, never got a reply.
Transferred here with Menlo Masters when it opened. This is a terrific 25 meter pool and patio with lounge chairs for sunbathing. Pleasant Staff! Location is a nugget! Adjacent to community modern track and field, tennis courts, basketball courts, weight room, indoor gym, library, and senior center. Samtrans bus connection adjacent to pool will take you to downtown Palo Alto, train depot and Stanford in a matter of minutes.
