The main pool at Eagle Park Pool is generally heated to a comfortable temperature, often maintained around 80-82°F (26.7-27.8°C), making it suitable for year-round aquatic activities. Specific temperatures for a wading or training pool, if available, may vary slightly.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The aquatic facility is generally highly praised for its cleanliness, organization, and comfortable pool temperature, making it a valued community resource for various activities. Reviewers highlight its suitability for recreational swimming (great for kids, beginners, and training) and lap swimming (with dedicated lanes, a pace clock, and two diving boards). Positive aspects include helpful staff, ample lifeguards, clean shower/changing rooms, and a generally positive experience regarding its value, though there's a minor discrepancy with some finding it affordable and others considering it expensive. The facility also hosts family-themed events. However, common criticisms include limited operating hours and difficulties in booking lap lanes, with suggestions that it could be managed to be an even more effective community asset. Specific recreational swim hours are mentioned (M-F 1-3:45pm, Weekends 1-4:45pm), and it's noted that lap swim has different hours.

Excellent! Clean, quiet and affordable. Recreational swim is from 1 to 3:450pm M-F 1-4:45pm Weekends There is two diving boards. Pool is sectioned off into three parts.
I love coming here for laps, I just wish it was easier to book a lane! Love how clean they, how organized everything is, and the temperature of the pool!
My favorite park.
I had an excellent experience. I went for the first time today for recreational swim and it was clean, organized, reasonably priced, fun, and well run. The recreational swim area is great for kids beginners those in training and lap swim lanes are good for moderate to advanced swimmers. There is a pace clock and diving boards for lap swim. Just FYI the recreational swim and lap swim have different hours. Families and kids and summer school programs can make great use of the facility. There was plenty of lifeguards on duty and helpful staff and clean good shower changing rooms the pool was a good temperature. Certainly an asset for the City of Mountain View. They do hold events like Friday night family party themed nights. Highly recommended.
AJ’s review from a year ago (local swim instructor) says it all. Strangely limited hours, overly expensive fees. If you’re swimming with any regularity a 24hr fitness membership makes more sense. This pool feels like it could be a much better community resource than how it is currently managed.
