Swim lesson instructors are tops. The swim program for kid is great. The pool conditions, temperature are superb. The facility including showers are due for a pick me up however.
Best place to have your children get them enrolled in swimming lessons. Teacher Mary and all the other life guards are very kind and they keep the place extremely clean.
Kind of expensive but lots of parking and very good teachers. The pool is pretty warm 92 degrees. I find it too hot to swim there but most people love that it's so warm. My granddaughter has taken group lessons and they were very good but a parent or guardian has to go in the pool with them. She is now taking private/semi-private lessons and no parent or guardian needs to go in with her and she loves them. Her teacher is excellent and she has lots of fun with him and he keeps her on track. Her swimming has really improved.
It is marvelous. Especially good for rehab, water is delightfully warm, one walks in and walks out, no laders to climb or waiting for a lift chair. The staff are all very helpful, everyone is friendly. Parking can be a little bit of an issue sometimes but there is usually some place near the Center.
My boys learned to swim here. Nice teachers, good programs, great organization. Sad, my boy will finish the last class soon. They are now confident swimmers. A skill every kid should learn early. Thank you Pomeroy.
