To those who think swim therapy and massage for your canine is a waste, think again. Lately, my dog has been experiencing some back and hip pain. Cheri picked up on it right away, monitoring her laps and using the warm water and her massage techniques to help ease pain that my dog was experiencing for a few days. Cheri knew EXACTLY where to go and what spots to hit, lightly and gently massaging her and then having her do a lap or two in the warm waters. After only ONE SESSION, my dog showed considerable improvement the next day by trotting around the house and wanting to play with another dog. It was a night and day difference with just 30 minutes of massage and swim. If your dog is experience pain or discomfort in joints, GO. If your dog is just bored and needs exercise, GO. Cheri's attention to detail and experience always puts your dog first and adjusts to whatever your dog needs. I cannot recommend her services enough.
Cheri is amazing! Our 12 year old German Shepherd Zoe started getting swim therapy and massage weekly after a DM diagnosis. She adores Cheri, is loving her therapy, and gaining mobility and strength. Her walks have only been able to be less than a mile so finding Cheri for her exercise, massaging her legs and shoulders and helping her find happiness is priceless! We are all learning how to cope in this new chapter and Cheri is an incredible resource! We have been referring to Zoe’s therapy as “ mermaid camp” and would highly recommend!
Tryst just had his 4th swim therapy session with Cheri after an injury caused by too much 'ruckus-ing' with his Bull Terrier roommate. It's been wonderful to watch Tryst's pain subside and his swimming improve from barely using his sore hind quarters, to actively paddling as he gets stronger and stronger. Of course, the BEST part, Cheri, is that you have definitely become his new best friend. He really doesn't snuggle with just anyone, but you are clearly magical!
Cheri is amazing with all my dogs, works at whatever level they are at. She’s very knowledgeable about canine fitness and I trust her implicitly
