What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed but largely critical view of the gym, primarily highlighting significant issues with cleanliness and ADA compliance. Multiple members express extreme disappointment with the unhygienic state of facilities, including consistently dirty women's locker rooms, showers full of hair, disgusting hot tubs, and unsanitary saunas and steam rooms often containing gum, trash, and slimy surfaces. This lack of cleanliness is deemed unacceptable for paying members, raising health concerns, and has reportedly declined over recent months with staff failing to address complaints effectively. A major operational failing noted is the gym's lack of awareness and preparedness regarding ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance. One member detailed a frustrating experience involving prolonged check-in delays and unprofessional conduct from staff and management, who lacked basic knowledge of policies for ADA support personnel, thereby failing to meet accessibility standards. Other areas for improvement include the personal training program, which, while individual trainers are praised, is criticized for lacking structured elements like full body assessments or comprehensive workout plans. There are also mentions of frequently broken equipment. On a positive note, members appreciate the gym's 24-hour accessibility and reasonable cost for amenities. The general staff, including front desk personnel and a new General Manager (David London) who is reportedly trying to improve the facility, receive praise for being friendly, amazing, and supportive, with specific trainers also highlighted positively.

I’m extremely disappointed in the condition of this gym. The women’s locker room is consistently neglected — floors and showers full of hair, uncleaned surfaces, and a general lack of care. The hot tub is honestly disgusting, not somewhere you’d want to relax, and the sauna is even worse. It’s dirty, with literal gum stuck inside, and overall feels completely unsanitary. For a company that charges membership fees and promotes itself as a health and fitness facility, the lack of cleanliness is unacceptable. It’s clear the spaces are not being maintained properly, and as a paying member, it makes me question where our money is going. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because members deserve a clean, safe, and hygienic environment — especially in locker rooms and wellness areas.
5/5 for being a 24 hour gym. 5/5 for reasonable cost for all the amenities they offer. 5/5 for an amazing staff just so friendly. 3/5 for personal training wish I had a full body assessment along with a full monthly workout plan or some type of workout format so I can stay consistent. Other than that I love the personal trainer. Just wish there was more to the personal training program and my opinion.. 2/5 Cleanliness, I understand when I was there there was a new General manager by the name of David London and he has been trying desperately to get the facility in top-notch shape and I think he’s been a great job with that. 3/5 for equipment, majority of them have been broken down since I’ve been there other than that, the machines are great many variations of workout machines. I give this gym, a four out of five in general. Paul is amazing great person to talk to about your fitness journey Chris was my personal trainer and he does pushes you to get to your body goals. The front staff is amazing and the housekeeper crew are amazing as well I wish I could have stayed but I had to move wish you all the best and thank you David for helping me understand fitness you put it in away that anyone can understand
If I could rate a negative 10 I would. We’ve been coming for about a year and in the last couple of months we’ve noticed a decline on the cleanliness of the club. The lockers and showers are disgusting. The steam room is always smelling nasty and no one really picks up the trash inside both the sauna and the steam room. And the tiles inside of the steam room they feel slimy and are full of scum. I’ve been avoiding using those areas more and more now. We have mentioned to staff several times and they have not been doing anything about it. It is unacceptable since members are paying a membership fee and we are not getting what we are paying for. Also it is breeding grounds for bacteria and diseases. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
Almost every shower had a clump of hair in the shower drain in the women's. But, overall really amazing place to work out. The steam room helped me breathe so much better and the sauna felt great right after the steam room. The hot tub helped my back feel so much better. Make sure to bring some kind of sandals. The locker room floors are very slippery.
As an ADA member who relies on the assistance of a helper during most of my visits, I’m extremely disappointed with the consistent lack of awareness and preparedness from both the staff and management at 24 Hour Fitness. Each time I come in with my helper, no one at the front desk or in management seems to understand the policies related to ADA support personnel. Today’s experience was especially frustrating. I arrived with my helper and asked for the standard waiver process. Instead of a quick and smooth check-in, we waited over 20 minutes while the front desk scrambled to figure out what to do. After 25 more minutes of no clear answers, I had to approach the manager myself—who, shockingly, also lacked clear knowledge of the ADA helper process. Instead of focusing on resolving the issue, the manager began sharing personal stories about his own caregiving experience, as though that somehow justified the confusion. He also told me I should’ve come to his office to ask for help more politely, rather than simply expecting staff to know and follow their own gym policies. For clarity, all I needed was this: My helper must provide a valid State ID Vendor or employee number Sign a waiver That process should take 5 minutes, not 45 minutes of listening to unrelated stories, overhearing phone conversations with his wife, or waiting while the manager admits he hasn’t trained his team adequately. This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s an accessibility issue and a failure to meet basic ADA accommodation standards. 24 Hour Fitness needs immediate training for its staff on ADA compliance, clear and posted policies, and managers who can stay professional and focused on the needs of their members—not their own personal history.
