What are people saying (AI review summary)? This is a well-maintained and renovated park offering a range of amenities for families and sports enthusiasts. It features a popular water spray/splash pad area (operational from 11 AM, though metal slides can get very hot), clean restrooms, and multiple covered pavilions ideal for gatherings. For sports, the baseball fields are noted as exceptionally nice and well-maintained, including a 'Little Fenway,' with an affordable concession stand accepting Venmo. However, the park has some drawbacks: baseball fields are small and close together with low fences, leading to many foul balls; seating and parking can be limited and tight. The park's entrance can also be busy with traffic. While the park itself is considered safe, an adjacent neighborhood is noted as not 'diversity friendly.' Other minor issues include limited power outlets, with a suggestion for extended water and power hours on hot days.
Reviews
My review is solo based on the Baseball fields as we were in town for a tournament. These are by far the nicest fields we have played on. They are well-maintained and in good shape. Saying that, this place is SMALL and all the fields are very close together so balls fly around everywhere. Seating is hard and limited as well. They do have bleachers though. The fenced around the fields are pretty low so foul balls come out a lot. They have a field called Little Fenway, which is cute. Parking can be tight as well since there isn't a lot of it. The concession stand was affordable and they accepted Venmo. Overall a nice tournament weekend at this field.
This is a quaint little park on the edge of Hamilton. It has been redone and is actually very nice. There are two covered areas for get-togethers along with a water spray area and clean restrooms. If you want to let the kids swing, or run in the grass and play for a little while, this is a great spot. The neighborhood adjacent to the park (known as the Knob) is not diversity friendly (to put that kindly), but it is still safe to visit.
The park itself was fine, but the unpainted aluminum slides were blistering hot. However the saving grace was the water park, my daughter had a fantastic time once the water turned on (at 11, in case anyone wants to know)
Great small kids park with decent sized splash pad. There are 2 pavilions by the pad & playground. Swings have a separate area (2 baby & 2 regular). There are restrooms. Small parking lot at entrance. Busy with traffic, so be careful. There are 2 additional pavilions. 1 is on other side of parking lot. The other is within sight of pad & restrooms. We did not go farther in toward the ball fields.
Clean, good price but only 1 power outlet. We had multiple items that needed electricity. Extended hours for the water and power during hot days would be appreciated
