I love going to the Columbus Aquatics Center. The staff were polite and helped me set up my membership including helping navigate with my insurance company. I'm doing a class with Rae and her assistants Savannah and Taylor. I even received a call when I missed a few days, just to make sure that I was okay. I was sick and it didn't occur to me to let them know. So it was refreshing that someone reached out to me.
I went in today because my sports medicine doctor told me I need to get more aquatic time for my left knee and foot and I though I know the perfect place…. The pool looked amazing, you could tell it was nice and warm however 8 lockers o tried didn’t work and took my money. I went to the desk to get more quarters and they told me they are not responsible for the lockers. I told them I already had tried 6 lockers and that’s $3.00 they had to change me for a $5 and were fine with them not working well I got my change and went back into the locker room and 2 more lockers would not work. So I changed and left they didn’t pay a bit of attention to me even leaving they were looking either at their cell phones or on tablets. I have been to the aquatic center many times and never once experienced this but today I had to drive all the way from Hilliard to get here and they really just honestly didn’t care and that’s sad.
Great lifeguards! Ki d, helpful, swim knowledgeable. Great lap swimming.
It's in an interesting neighborhood but the staff is always friendly and the lifeguards flare the best
I am a long-time swimmer (past 9 years), used to swim for the masters team that practices here. I decided I wanted to practice on my own time, so I bought a pass to come here to do my own workouts. I work a typical 8-5 job. There were absolutely no times I could come here to lap swim except for Friday nights. The first week I had the pass there were 2 mornings that had 5-9am lap swim times, but other than that there were no times except Friday nights 5-9pm that were available. Definitely only worth the price if you do not work during the day. Wasted $20 myself unfortunately.
