What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool receives mixed reviews, generally being praised as a clean, quiet, and family-friendly 'hidden gem' or 'oasis' with easy parking and an affordable $1 entry. Positive aspects frequently mentioned include clearly marked depth sections, respectful clientele, free floaties for kids, and good shade. However, several recent reviews highlight significant frustration with frequent, uncommunicated closures, describing a visit as a 'game of Russian roulette.' Other common complaints include poor communication (unanswered phones), capacity management issues (e.g., 'one in one out' even with empty chairs), and a lack of proper concessions, with vending machines often out of stock, non-functional, or providing warm drinks. While some found lifeguards to be good, one review noted them as strict. Despite these operational issues, the cleanliness of the pool itself is consistently praised.

I tried this pool for the first time today. I liked it. It was clean and had clearly marked sections for different depths. The clientele were respectful and it was a family friendly environment. The cons were that there are no concessions. There's a couple vending machines but the ice cream one was out of stock and didn't accept cards. The one for drinks worked but the drinks were not that cold. The other semi- con was the life guards were strict and a little overly controlling. But overall they seemed like they were trying to do their job. Another pro was they had free floaties for little kids if you didn't bring one. Overall I'd definitely go back. There was a bit of a wait getting in cause I arrived when they open. But after that there wasn't a line for people who arrived a little later.
Small oasis in Columbus, loved it.
Part of me wants to give this pool a terrible rating so that it’s never crowded but it’s just too perfect not to share. It’s small, quiet, and laid back. Parking is easy, water is clean, and the lifeguards are good folks.
I had to change my review this year. This pool is closed more than it’s open. They are very poor at communicating when it’s opened or closed and why absolutely no one will answer the phone and with several people sitting on their phones in the booth. I show up 5-6 times a week and it’s about a 50/50 shot. Sometimes it’s at capacity with empty chairs and people leaving and they make it one in one out like a night club. I’ve been going to this pool for like 10yrs and it’s that has never been an issue before. This has been a very odd summer but this used to be a hidden gem. Still very clean.
One of Columbus’ gems. Great spot. $1 entry. Good shade on one side. But don’t get too excited. Like many pools, they love to randomly close. Getting pumped for a pool day at Tuttle is a game of Russian roulette. Of course, you could have a wonderful day laying out and going for a lap (although, its worth noting, they don’t have concessions or functioning snack/drink machines so be sure to bring refreshments). However, there’s nothing worse than packing your bag, double checking the hours for the pool, embarking on a heated commute, only to arrive at an emptied pool (as it was today, June 30, 2024). All of the excitement swiftly turns to depression as any prospect of meaning is immediately abandoned. Life is hopeless. Nothing matters.
