Pool featuring water slides, diving boards, kiddie spaces and lifeguard-patrolled waters for all ages.
The facility offers two distinct temperature zones: a standard temperature suitable for general swimming and lap activities in its Olympic-size pool, and a significantly warmer temperature in its dedicated therapy pool, designed for rehabilitation and relaxation. Specific exact temperatures are not widely published, but are maintained to suit their respective purposes.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the pool are mixed, highlighting both positive aspects and significant operational issues. On the positive side, patrons appreciate the pool's cleanliness, variety of amenities including different depths, slides, diving boards, and a separate kiddie area, making it generally enjoyable for children. The option for lap swimming is also valued, and lifeguards are noted for being helpful in this regard. However, major criticisms revolve around operational inconsistencies: frequent unannounced closures of the main pool or the tot pool (often due to lifeguard shortages), early closures, and freezing water temperatures in the tot pool. Inconsistent application of rules, a very strict re-entry policy (even for essential items like child medication), and instances of rude or unprofessional staff behavior (including cussing) are also significant deterrents for some visitors, leading to strong negative experiences despite the facility's potential.

Has happened more than once where the pool will be “temporarily closed” unannounced on the website until you get there. Was told today it’s closed for a private event- glad it’s a public pool. They also regularly close the pool early. If the hours are until 6:45pm put 6:45, not 7pm. Nice to be able to swim laps outside during the summer vs being inside. If you let the lifeguards know you want to do laps in last lane they do a good job of keeping other swimmers out of the lane for you.
We went 2 days in a row and it was okay for 2 small children. CONS : We were very disappointed both days the tot pool was closed. We were told due to not enough life guards. Our kids would've really enjoyed that. There were lots of other toddlers there also, that would've used it. It was our first time so we didn't know it was closed and went in the gate to it. Then we heard a lifeguard screaming at us. IDK why they wouldn't hang a sign to let people know not to enter? The water was freezing. It was almost 90 degrees outside and my toddler was shaking. IDK if it's because the heat pump was broken, or because it was drained recently, but it was very uncomfortable water temperature. There were also some inconsistency's with rules. The first day my husband was allowed to wear a tank top and give our daughter piggy back rides in the water. The 2nd day he wasn't allowed to do those 2 things. On our way out a lifeguard getting off shift was cussing and saying the "F" word in front of our small children, which was disappointing. PROS : It was a clean pool. There was an ice cream machine. It wasn't overcrowded since you have to sign up in advance. Our kids had a nice time overall.
One of Columbus's city pools. Very clean and fully staffed with Life-guards. A variety of pools with different depths, diving boards, and 2 slides. This pool even has a Kiddie area separate from main area. If you've never attended you should give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
So. You walk in with your family. You have to leave to go to your car to get something and they won't let you back in...even though your ENTIRE FAMILY IS ALREADY IN THERE and they are VERY STRICT THEY WONT LET YOU IN WHEN YOUR ALREADY COUNTED and you see your family though gate...worst pool ever..try bracelets..will NEVER go again ...plus was I ly.one.person and was treated.like crap...get a different manager. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN...oh and let's add it was medication for my child but the manager could care less...and all this time later and no changes or comment from management so you can be the judge
We took 3 grandkids and my niece ages 4-10; they loved it! Didn't want to leave, and asked when we can go again.
