What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool facility receives mixed feedback from visitors. Positive aspects include ample shaded seating, accessible diving boards, and a convenient swimsuit tumble dryer. Some users appreciated the initial cleanliness and the presence of ducks in the lap pool, noting room for all ages. However, significant concerns were raised regarding a decline in lap pool cleanliness, with reports of debris and associated health worries (e.g., laryngitis). Other major criticisms include rude and untrained staff, unruly teenagers, cold and stale food, and a perceived general lack of order. Additionally, patrons expressed frustration over restrictive access, as only lap lanes are available until noon despite an earlier opening, which limits access to slides and diving boards in the morning. Practical information includes free lockers that require personal locks and a limited number of family changing rooms.

I've only been to the lap pool twice... And it was real real hot so it wasn't packed. But the facility was clean, almost all the chairs are shaded by spectacular trees, the local ducks swim with you sometimes. You can actually use the diving boards! I'm trying the slides next time. Lots of room for kids and adults of all ages. Worth checking it out at a very bare minimum.
I wanted to share some feedback regarding the lap pool this year. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed the cleanliness has not been up to the same standards as in previous years. It often looks like chlorine is being added but the lap pool isn’t being swept or properly cleaned—almost every time I go, whether early in the morning or later in the afternoon, I see bandages and other debris at the bottom. This wasn’t the case last year, so I wanted to ask—has the management or maintenance routine changed? I actually came down with a case of laryngitis last week after swimming, which makes me more concerned about the pool’s upkeep. The facilities themselves are wonderful, and I really appreciate having access to them. I just hope the cleaning process can be stepped up, especially with regular sweeping of the pool, so everyone can enjoy the space safely.
The have a little swimsuit tumble dryer that is quite nice to use before leaving. Lockers are free but it is bring your own lock, unlike the built in ones at the Rec center. There are only 2 family changing rooms l.
I am utterly disgusted by my recent visit to this pool. The staff was unbelievably rude and seemed completely untrained in basic customer service. To make matters worse, packs of disrespectful teenagers roamed the area, behaving obnoxiously and clearly not understanding how to treat others with common decency. The food was not only cold but also tasted like it had been sitting out for days. And to top it all off, there were ducks everywhere, adding to the overall sense of filth and disorder. This place is a complete disaster and a total waste of money.
Found this place that opens at 8am unlike most pools that open at noon for some reason and came all the way here to enjoy the cool slides and diving boards before the rush. They 1st make you fill out an application then they say only the lanes are open until noon. ?? No thanks.
