Kid-friendly public water park with pools, slides, a lazy river and diving boards.
While specific daily temperatures can fluctuate, the main pool and lazy river at the Hilliard Family Aquatic Center are typically heated for guest comfort, generally maintained around 80-82°F (26-28°C). Water in the splash pad area is usually not heated and circulates at ambient temperatures.

Do not come here if you don’t have a membership! There is no signage or staff to let you know that you must go to the community center next door to give your id, get a photo, and be issued a card BEFORE you wait in line to get in- to get a day pass. I waited in 3 lines, was misdirected as to where to twice. It took an hour to get into the pool. I paid an arm and a leg, and the lazy river wasn’t even open. To say this place is badly managed would be an understatement.
We drive 30 minutes to come here about once a month during the summer. Last year we were really disappointed when we got there and the toddler section and the lazy river was closed down due to being short staffed...so I call everytime before we make the drive to make sure it's open for my little ones. The place is great with a nice layout. I will say our most recent visit this week was a little disappointing...non resident visitors have to now have a black key card before paying the $15 per person and get it from people sitting at a table with conputers near the front gate (had to get out of line and give lots of information to get black key card) The toddler areas pool was really slimey on the floor in some areas and even blackish. The last con is a lot of girls and women wear thong bathing suits and it is not appropriate for young eyes.
Overpriced, not that great. Called ahead of time for guest pass prices, wasn’t told over the phone that an account and key faub was needed beforehand so I had to go wait in line for a key faub pass in a completely different building. Was “reprimanded” by two lifeguards more than once for the most ridiculous things, I was honestly scared to even splash the wrong way or something with my kids. Lazy river and pool slide were closed.. food was garbage. Would not spend another $50+ for this same experience
Firstly it is way too overpriced to enter as a guest. Secondly it feels like no autonomy is allowed at this pool. The amount of times the guard blew the whistle at my husband and children for the most ridiculous things: the guard didn’t like how more daughter was sitting on the blow up ring in the lazy river (my husband was holding her because it was too cold to put her bottom in), my son got told off for putting his arms around his dad while they were floating in the pool (!?) and then told us my son had to go to a swim test to swim in that pool?? I explained we’re an autistic family and it was not accessible for my son to “perform” his swimming skills. The guard ended up calling senior over who said it was ok if my husband swam within arms length of my son (ridiculous as my son can swim and has been swimming solo in our home pool for years). He also blew the whistle at my 5 year old telling her to get off the ladder (the water was freezing and she was slowly getting in and adjusting to the water). So many rules that don’t make sense, it makes the place not fun at all.
Go there to swim and they pull everyone out of the water as soon as we pay $40 to get in, only a few clouds were in the sky and it never even rained one time. We waited 30 minutes and then saw all the life guards walk off there post like they were going to go home for the day. So we left too. Had a nightmare trying to get a refund back and only could get a credit back lol meanwhile saw a lifeguard yell at kid for throwing a football, didn’t know this was NK, yikes. Never did say to us the water slides were closed or they were going to be shutting down the lazy river until after we got in the place, so half the place was unusable.
