What are people saying (AI review summary)? This water park offers a good variety of slides and play areas for all ages, including toddlers, and is generally considered fun and a good value, especially with coupons. Many appreciate its size and the overall activities. However, there are significant drawbacks, primarily a lack of shady spots and concerns about water quality, with one review mentioning a sewage smell. Several patrons reported frustrating experiences with lifeguards, citing overly strict and inconsistent swim test requirements, perceived power trips, and poor service. Other criticisms include varying water temperature (some found it amazing, others cold) and limited equipment like a single double tube for a major slide. An update from 2021 noted that online reservations for 2.5-hour blocks are required.

Great local water park. Good variety of things for littles , two small water slides. Didn't go in the deep end as I was with my 4 year old but two bigger slides looked fun. Decent changing rooms. Concession stand. Small playground. Great for the price, not busy for a Friday morning.
Me and the kids had so much fun. Love the water slides (they have two for the toddlers and two for the big kids), the water is an amazing temperature, several different play areas and activities for all different swim levels. A lot bigger than I expected which was great.
If I had to say one main dislike about this place, it would be that there are hardly any shady spots. They need to provide more umbrellas and put up more awnings over the beach chairs so people don't fry under the sun. In addition, my child always comes home smelling like sewage. Do better, Cool Waters.
Life guards are on some sort of weird power trip. They want you to have the form of a professional swimmer while taking the swimming test. Mind you, the depth is 3 feet so you're banging your knees on the bottom. There's a limit on the amount of times you can take the test when your form isnt what they want it to be. Huge waste of money. Seems like the life guards just want to ensure that they dont have to do too much work to do. Then one of their inept life guards gave one of my kids an "incorrect password" after passing and another one made him retake the whole thing. Disrespectfully, kick rocks!
Overall good time. Water was cold. Kids had a good time for a few hours. Had coupons from library to make it more affordable. Ate lunch at snack bar. Many people carried in sack lunches as well(not sure if you're supposed to).---- Recent update: 07/16/2021 Make your reservation online for a 2.5 hr block of time. $5 for a session and pay when you arrive and show proof of reservation. My son and I had a good time overall. Only 1 double tube for the tube slide was extremely frustrating. That needs to be addressed. Snack bar has a new covid limited menu(see pic).
