I came as a guest couple of weeks back and participated in a class. I used to do bodybuilding in my younger days but don't find that. Very interesting now. The class was actually pretty challenging and I did enjoy the social aspect of it. I look forward to coming back and trying another group activity.
Great gym overall. It’s on the higher end price-wise, but I feel the amenities make it worth it. I don’t personally take many of the group classes, but it’s nice to have the option. The facility is usually well-maintained, though the steam room and sauna could be cleaner at times. I’ve also lost a couple headphones and water bottles here, and unfortunately they were never found or returned. Still, my overall experience has been positive and I enjoy coming here.
Dear Lifetime Fitness Management, I had a frustrating experience at the front desk recently when I asked a simple question about my membership. The concierge couldn’t provide basic information and seemed more interested in brushing me off than actually helping. If the front desk can’t answer common membership questions, perhaps it’s time to hire someone who can — or at least someone willing to find the answer. As a paying member, I expect better service than being dismissed without support. I hope this is addressed so future members don’t receive the same treatment.
The gym floor is nice. It is clean, modern, has everything you need. The locker room, bathrooms, sauna, steam room, etc. are consistently filthy. In the 30ish times I’ve been here over the years, it is a pig sty every time. Dirty water everywhere, overflowing garbage cans, toilet paper all over the floor. Obviously Life Time isn’t making these messes, but they’re not keeping up with the messes people make in there. The cleanliness standards are not even close to anything you’ll find at other Life Times around the country. I really like this gym and I like the company, so I think it would be great if they worked on that.
Love this gym! My wife and I try and keep the fitness up whenever we come back to Wisconsin. This is always our go to no matter where we’re staying. Helps burn off them cheese curds and various adult beverages. Our home gym is the South Austin Lifetime Fitness but the Brookfield location seems to be far superior. No kids running around the basketball court, weight room is clean as can be, and all of the equipment looks brand new. We always question how there is such a drastic difference between two luxury gyms under the same name. Good work to the team at the Brookfield Lifetime location. Please call your colleagues in South Austin and tell them that the one basketball court that they have should not be consumed by a kids camp for the majority of the day. Also, shed light on how to fix a door so it’s not broken for a month. Good work, team!
